Hey guys, Very long time user of grow with jane and have posted a few of my logs up in the past.
Sadly over the past 6-10 months I’ve not been able to start a Discussion on any of my logs for the community to comment on and im not sure why. I’ve worked in I.t for a long time and Ive tried doing it from my PC, Mobile phone and tablet yet everytime I try it comes up with
I’ve tried clearing cache/web data/cookies/new browser/3 different devices and am kinda lost at what to try next.
@ELI @gaz might be able to solve this issue for ya bud. I believe one is like the head mod and other is a dev/owner if im not mistaken

Hi Mitcho! I think I’ve misunderstood your problem. If you want to share growlogs here, in the forum, you just need to copy the link from the app and paste it. Here it is well explained: How to Share your Growlog
The other issue I have mentioned has to do with commenting on growlogs directly in the app. The team is still working on it.

Ive tried that but under the growlog channel the button to make a new post is greyed out and wont let me post for some reason so i thought it was due to the bug i mentioned.

By the way, I take this opportunity to tell you that the growlogs channel is closed, since all the publications are generated automatically by the system. To share growlogs in the forum, we have another channel, this one: 🤝🏾 Share your Growlogs 📸

Well that makes a lot of sense if you have closed the growlog channel so no new logs can be shared or talked about…also explains why we cant start a discussion on the grow logs if they cant be shared.
All good I think this has explained that the issues im having is due to GWJ no longer allowing logs to be shared on the growlog channel.
Hey Mitcho! to be honest that channel has been closed almost since the beginning (somewhere in 2020), if you check the threads, you’ll see every one of them is created by “system” (there’s a couple that were created by mods or a user in 2020). The idea was that if you want to share a growlog you just started the conversation in the growlog itself and that would auto generate a thread there (by the system user) so we could keep all growlogs conversations visibles in the growlog itself.
Unfortunately this is not working right now, we’re looking into why and might as well just open the growlog channel if this is bringing more trouble than solutions right now.

Hey @Mitcho! We’ve resolved this issue and you can now again start discussions from web growlogs
