My question is do those leaves have any cbd/thc to make butter from. Otherwise i will leave them longer till almost the end of the harvest to be able to make butter from it.
so i will use the leaves on the top 1/3 of the plant. should i not flush when its almost time to harvest so that the leaves stay green? i checked on internet about flushing and there are no real big diffs of flushed buds and unflushed buds. anyone who flushed and made butter with yellow leaves?
There is no difference if you flush. I’ve never had yellow leaves for butter, I would throw those away. If you’re not going to make the butter right away, I suggest you to store the leaves on the freezer.
@NicoZ i have seen on youtube that plants who have been flushed at the last weeks before harvest they start getting yellow leaves becuase the plant takes those nutrients from the leaves to the buds because there are no nutrients anymore in the soil. Some say flushing makes the taste of weed better but there is no sience behind this. I will just go for a harvest without flushing it so that the leaves stay green to make butter from it. And i am thinking to make the butter imediately and freeze the butter.
