Sticky is in the house!

Hey everyone! I go by StickyBudHound. I’ve been growing indoors for a few years now. This post is really just to say hello and try to figure out how to do things in here.

how do I share my grow from the app?

Welcome to the community. If you want to share your growlog, upload pics, and most everything else, you need to do it on desktop via the web. The app functionality is limited.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. Thats a bummer. I don’t use the PC for my grows much. I like the functionality of the app though. Its too bad it isn’t integrated more…

Good morning and Merry Christmas! Thank you all for the warm welcome. :hugs:

I’m gonna try to post my current grow here. This is my room.

Its in the basement of my house. The room is 12 ft x 7 ft and barely over 6 ft high. Because of that low ceiling my grow style is focused on a low training methodology.

I’m in Oregon USA. We can legally have up to 4 plants in flower at any one time so I grow 4 at a time, twice a year. I’ve been growing since 2015.

I do everything I can to make growing as simplified for me as possible. I built these contraptions to help with that. This is version 3. I’m still zeroing in on the design, but so far they’re very helpful to allow me to work with the plant all the way around it very easily. This is from the first grow in 2020. The top scrog is really only necessary when I have a plant that that stretches too much to support the branches when colas begin to weigh them down.

My lights are a DIY build. Each of the 4 fixtures hold 4 HLG QB132 boards that run at 300 watts. The boards are 3500 Kelvin and provide a solid grow from start to finish.

These are the babies that will be going into the room this weekend.

They are a Girl Scout Cookies at front left, Grape Pupil at front right, Black Sugar at back left and Amnesia OG at back right. Today they are at day 22. Once they go into the big girl room I’ll manifold each of them to start my low grow process. Normally the manifold will happen at 30 days old.

They’ll be in 15 gallon fabric grow bags. I’m using Rogue Soil Rocket Fuel and I’ll be mixing about 1/3 of the grow bag with additional extra large perlite to allow for them to dry well enough between watering at an every other day watering/feed cycle.

The water is horrible in my town straight out of the tap. It has very high alkalinity, so I installed an RO filter that fills a 30 gallon water barrel. Since it’s RO I have to provide for everything.

I use the FoxFarm liquid trio and water soluble trio as my main feed but I supplement with the water soluble line up from NPK RAW to fill in the gaps and provide a bump here and there of N, P or K throughout the grow as well as other micro nutes. I also like using epsom salt for Mg and a super fine water soluble gypsum for Ca.

Thats about it. Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Thanks, canagen. I’ve slowly improved everything over time and I’m not done yet. :upside_down_face: I keep busy.

Cool, I’m glad they got your creative juices flowing! They make all the difference in the world for me. Post back later to show off what you come up with. :sunglasses:

Lol, thanks buddy, I appreciate that. They’re great for a soil grow. I’m also working on a version that would work with DWC. Haven’t quite worked out the details on power…
