Switching tent help

I’m curious and can’t find anything in the net about this.
I’m sure people have done it before and knows the chances.

Is it safe to switch tents during flower?

I’m pretty sure if I’m careful enough it’s possible since it’s in the same room and their not leaving the house and won’t be much (if any) disruption in their schedule.
I wouldn’t be worried about it and just wait…but I have someone that wants to buy my old one for twice what I paid for it :smile_cat:.
That would cover the cost of the new one and still some cash in my pocket.
I just don’t want to hurt my plants and will make them wait until I harvest if need be.?.?.?

I would have thought as long as you do it during light hours, and do it with the minimum amount of stress, you should be fine.

The scrog will probably be your biggest issue. Otherwise it shouldn’t be any different to doing basic maintenance.

There are some stress relief supplements on the market if you are super concerned (eg Alg-a-mic by Biobizz).

I can cut the nets no problem I have more. My branches are strong now and I can use the tent poles if they get to top heavy.
I’ve read people switching tents for different stages before and as usual I’m probably over thinking this , but never having to deal with it before just thought I’d ask.
This is probably gonna be the only time I’ll need to worry about it with plants.

Hello @Papakat420, well I would advise you not to change your plants from one store to another due to flowering, it doesn’t seem like it but even the slightest temperature difference could make your plants hermaphrodite! But in any case, if you want a super product to alleviate all the stresses on your plants, and I mean all (stresses due to pruning such as topping, lollipopping, Supercroping or Main-lining, due to low temperatures, due to external deflation), I advise you to water them with Superthrive. Vit, 0.22ml x L and from the first week you will notice it!
y utilizando esto seguro no tendrá problemas de hermafeositismo!
good fumes!

For example, I even transplant them in the store so that they don’t have so many extras and then I water them with superthrive vit

No worries. Also how far into flower are you? Stress becomes less of a concern the closer to finishing you are.

Stress is a killer early in flower, if they get stressed in the first few weeks they just stop growing which is obviously a nightmare, and has lead me to simply trashing several plants.

However, by say week 6 most of the growth has stopped, so it’s not so much of a concern, at least in terms of growth anyway. Like @ShaggyGrower.V2 says, hit it with some vitamins and it should be fine.

As for hermies and nanners and all that, I don’t think moving will cause it, it’s usually environmental issues that cause it in my exp.

Well here you are wrong, these vitamins have B1 and Kelp Seaweed inside.
Kelp Algae are the best ally for plants to overcome with less difficulty all the stresses that may occur during their cycle. Since I started using it I see a lot of difference and when I prune it due to the scrog and for many factors when I grow outdoors I see that the plants respond well and continue as if nothing had happened and with the cuts they continue with their speed and do not stop like I would spend any day in nature to recover from stress or transplants!

Super Thrive is a concentrate of essential vitamins for the growth and flowering of our plants. It will maintain the healthy appearance of our crop throughout the harvest, keeping them strong at any stage. This new formulation includes kelp extract.

The best vitamins for marijuana cultivation are SuperTrhive.

The Super Thrive vitamin complex enhances root development, improves nutrient absorption , strengthens the structure of the plant (stems and branches) which later, during flowering, will help support the weight of the buds, maintain the healthy green color , promoting photosynthesis and the absorption of light, accelerating the plant’s metabolism and making it focus all its energy on its natural development, so in flowering, it will help increase production .

Superthrive, in addition to helping your plants to be stronger than an oak, also helps the plant return to its normal development cycle if it has suffered some type of environmental stress (and helps prevent it), a disease or pest or if we have simply performed a transplant (it helps it root more quickly and does not stop development).

Superthrive is a vitamin complex from Vitamin Institute that has been on the market for many years and far surpasses the famous Super Vit from Hesi .

It can be used on any type of plant, from rose bushes to fruit trees, but in marijuana cultivation it gives the best results.

Benefits of Superthrive on marijuana plants.

High content of vitamin “B” to stimulate the root system.

@ShaggyGrower.V2
I’m only talking maybe a 10 foot move in the same room and never going outside just switching to a bigger tent. I use the Advanced Nutrients line and been communicating with them about their fertilizer and with them having a PH perfect formula and 6 month satisfaction guarantee I’m not going to take a chance adding other brands
@SJ1
My F1 is gonna harvest in the next week sometime starting to get amber trichomes in it…my Do-si-do is starting week 5 in flower but she has stopped growing tall and has a s!5tload of bud sites

This is just the top , it looks like that all over the plant even the inside. None of the pistels have started to change and if my math is right I got about another 4-5 weeks left before I harvest her.

Well @Papakat420 , that’s what I was referring to, changing from one store to another, not from inside to outside! But if you have it, you’re already in the 5th week, so if you get it, why not! Now with the photo it is better understood! Well, if you change stores, you won’t have much risk because of how they are! but use superthrive if you find it and you will see that you will not have stress at all!

These are my plants and today they finish the 5th week like you!

:joy_cat::joy_cat::joy_cat::joy_cat::joy_cat: their both autos just different strains.
I can almost match the temperature +/- 2 degrees in the lung room both my tents will be in.
When you say stores it sounds like a completely different location involving putting them in a vehicle and driving them somewhere.

This pic you can see the corner of my current tent and where my cat is sleeping is where the new one is going…maybe 10 feet.

In truth, mine are 4 photoperiodic plants in Scrog, 3 hybrids and one sativa. The one I showed you is the upper part and I grow them in a 1m x 1m x 2m closet, of course, maybe yours will be bigger per closet meter, but let’s say they are 2 cars :rofl::rofl::+1:

I’m not sure about the conversion but I’m 60x60x72 barnstyle now but going to a 60x60x80 (inches) cube style. I need the corners for better light placement , more over the top of the plant and extra height.

Here’s a full pic of both my girls…I like big plants :joy_cat::joy_cat::joy_cat::joy_cat::v:

I can’t do more than this size because I have a small room but outdoors on my roof I usually grow about 11-15 plants when there is an outdoor and winter season I set up the indoor one.

I’m gonna do 3 autos my next run and if they all grow like my Do-si-do then I’ll get real close to a pound between them all. I’m sure I’m gonna get over a 1/2 pound this time and it’s just me so I’ll make it till next harvest.
I’m only about 5 miles from state line and it’s not legal in the other one…they send out helicopters during harvest season ( the only time ever see them) and don’t want the hassle even though it’s legal in my state so I stay indoors.
I am going to be moving cross country to a warmer climate and better location probably next year. I might do some outdoor photos then.

Furthermore, living in Spain, In a Canary Island and but the cultivation of cannabis is not legal like in the USA where you live. Fortunately, I have no neighbors next door to my house, but I cannot grow trees in my house either, with a scrog of 4 plants in winter and 10 plants outdoors. In the summer I, my girlfriend and my friends smoke when they stop by for a visit and I don’t have to spend money on the black market!:+1::seedling:
In summer, 2.5k bags of 15 plants and in winter, 200g of 4 plants, so for my needs and that of my girlfriend, it’s super. Well, for the Autoflowering ones to get their maximum performance from the moment they grow until they finish flowering at 21/3 of light oki because if you put them at 18/4 and then 12/12 they will become dwarfs of 40 cm when flowered indoors. I tell you because I grew them indoors a long time ago!
If you want an Autoflowering plant to arrive as a photoperiodic plant in width and length and leave a quantity of 21/3 hours for its entire cycle and 20-30L pots

I use an 18/6 schedule non stop , another reason I’m not doing photos indoors. I’m using 5 gallon fabric pots… around 19 liters after the conversion , I know that one because of fertilizer only 3.78 liters to a gallon. I have to use Google for the rest.:smile_cat:
You do have good looking plants with nice colors :+1:.
It’s still not legal nation wide yet just some states though so have to be kinda careful

In any case, I also have 18 years of experience in growing cannabis outdoors and indoors, with soil and hydroponics, with Autoflowering, regular Photoperiodic and 100% female, I rarely grew with coconut and I rarely grew FAST genetics and above all I only tried it once grow a CBD plant. I especially like indicas and now in the last 5 years I have been growing genetics from USA plants, because I like them more than the Dutch ones, MAC, Wedding Cake, Gelato, Cereal Milk and Sunset Sherbert genetics are among my favorites.
of Autoflowering in these 3 years I didn’t grow them anymore but the last one I tried was Auto Blue Dream, Auto Girl Scout Cookies.
If you are right, in Spain it is tolerated, not legal! They give you a fine but don’t take you to jail. The only thing that is legal is CBD and only this you can have and smoke and the state does nothing to you! But maybe CBD doesn’t do anything to you, at least I have smoked THC for almost 20 years :rofl::rofl:
Thanks for the compliment, I really like growing and trying to always grow healthy plants

CBD is legal here since 2018 farm bill…but if you buy the flower it’s so weak that it takes 4-5 as much and might get close only legally allowed to have 0.3% THC in it.
Now if you buy the vapes those are better but harsh. Alot of them have a mix of the different Delta’s 8,9,10 in them and push the limit to the max in those.
But nothing compares to actual cannabis good for getting to next harvest if you run short but that’s it.
I have severe insomnia and pain… And kinda helps but not enough

Bro have you tried RSO? Made with pure indica that shit will put an elephant to sleep! Very good for overall healing and pain relief too. Watch out on dosage though that stuff is crazy strong haha.

I see you’ve gotten tons of advice and it’s all great. The only thing I see missing is that you should set up your environment for a day or 2 and dial it in to the same parameters before the switch takes place. Also I saw you were worried about adding new nutes to reduce the stress. Mixing and matching base nutes is risky adding in supplemental vitamins like super thrive isn’t a worry at all. That’s just my 2 cents but can’t wait to see the new tent rocking and rolling.

@SJ1 Well, apart from cultivating, I also make cannabis extracts, apart from Ice O Lator, BHO with butane, I also make RICK SIMPSON OIL but with THC and I do that for my father who has chronic pain and it is very good for his pain…
I did this 2 summers ago with smaller leaves than the one I had outdoors, obviously I used the most resinous ones and some flowers!
