Hey guys I’m growimg 4 white label white widow feminized
They are currently in coc coir germination pots with foc farms ocean blend.
I feed at a 1/3 strength fox farms trio supplemented with 1/2 dose of cal mag.

My question is I’m going from clay pots to 5 gal smart pots. How would yall go about performing scheduled flushes? It seems like the bottoms will stay damp for a while regardless. Any other white widow advice would be greatly appreciated.

Personally I bought a cheapo cookie drying rack and set pot on that. But i have also used many different things in the past such as a couple pieces of pvc pipe or wood

I love my fabric pots! I flush em in the bathtub and as long as you have good airflow you shouldn’t have any problems. It allows the roots to breathe better.

I agree with @EtherealBud love the fabric pots and good air flow will be perfect. Also @GreenFire is right as well place them up on some sort of rack with a drip tray beneath will allow the bottom from wicking up any runoff water. I use a cheap plastic shoe rack to elevate my plants about a foot from the bottom and place a shoe tray underneath to catch my runoff.

Hey guys thanks for the advice. Just changed out the white widow into the fabric pots on cookie sheets. I’m going to put a drain pan under as soon as I get them into big tent. Also the bath tub idea was killer. Just did the final flush on the sapphire stars. Worked really well. I’ll post picks in a couple weeks at harvest. Thanks avain.

You know, those discarded milk crates make for great elevators for fabric pots. And they cut easily with a bare hacksaw blade. Just a thought in case you were penny pinching.
