Says 4 to 6 feet. And I think it’s way more.

So very disappointing this one ended up getting seeded and now I’m finding seeds in every bud.
Is it worth while keeping the seeds if you aren’t sure of the father plant?
And second should I bother to harvest the tiny buds.

You can use the seeds if you want but unless you can isolate it…it needs to be chopped down and removed. It can not only affect your plants but it can also turn any female into a male for miles around you.
So you are saying a female that has been fertilized and gone to seed can also turn another female plant male? I know if you have a true male you need to chop it down before it pollinates females but didn’t know about seeded plants effecting other plants.
I believe so. I could be mistaken but from my understanding any cannabis plant that puts out seeds has the chance of polinating other plants and they start producing seeds as well.
I remember a post from when I first came on the site …I can’t tell you which one…but another person had it happen and a few people said to chop it and apologized for it happening especially during flower.

But there’s always next time and I started buying feminized seeds online and went indoors to try and keep it from happening.

Oh no this doesn’t discourage me. I grew autos last winter and I will be again. I am reconsidering growing outdoors again though. With it legal too many people growing outside without any knowledge and I can’t believe the distance the pollen can travel.

I know the average bee travels in an 8 mile radius from there hive but can go as far as 20 miles. I don’t know if I’m the only one growing around me but it’s not worth the chance for me to find out the hard way. I’ve probably got enough seeds now from online to last a year probably:grin:. But I also don’t know the names of what I got before so their all new to me:grin:
