Morning all! I just wanted to say that this app and the people in it, have been an amazing resource of info. I went into growing to make my own medication, not for profit.
Ive never so much as grown a potato let alone this amazing plant so i wentnin blind, the folk here have been the most supportive, encouraging and informative bunch ive ever encountered! You all have made this into something so much more than just growing a plant.
I know i dont post alot and really only when i need help which i know is abit shitty, i just hate bothering people with what id guess to be a simple google search, but you get so much more than a search engine can provide such as speaking from experiance, encouragement, and recognition of success!
All in all im so happy to have found this. In a landscape of social media platforms where everything left to public opinion and scrutiny with little to no consequence, THIS is not only a safe place to ask a dumb question, but one where its encouraged to benifit others through education.
I couldn’t agree more, I’d be so lost without this place! Much love to everyone on here. This place is like the “anti-Reddit” for weed growers lol. No arguing and you actually get some serious knowledge!
We are glad to have you here as well. I also agree this is the best mix of people I found online. The goal here has always been to lift each other up to their potential. As always don’t hesitate to ask as Google searches sometimes are all over the place without giving reliable info.

For as long as i been apart of this community i dont think ive met one person who wasnt willing to help me or others in the beginning and even now which is 1 of the best parts of this place. Lots of wicked chill/knowledgeable people have came and some have gone but compared to many other grow communities there is none comparable to this one. Everyone tries to bring out the best in Everyone in a classy and respectful manner which says alot about the community and always enjoy seeing post like these. Much respect to you all
I am also growing for medicinal purposes as well, but for my 24-year-old autistic daughter who suffers from severe ADHD and Complex PTSD. I have never used marijuana but have always been a strong advocate for its use. My daughter had been on so many man made chemical medications for so long. When she hit 18 and became a medical MJ patient, it truly saved her life. But as a single parent of two kids on the spectrum, buying enough capsules for her from a dispensary is unbelievably expensive for me. I started our first ever grow, and like you, have never grown a thing in my life, let along keep a simple house plant alive! lol I don’t post much at all but have been watching and learning from the community. We are a couple weeks into the flowering stage on 3 of my plants and my auto is a little bit further along. I have never been more involved and dedicated in anything like this in my life. Yes, this saves me a lot of money, but it also gives us peace of mind knowing what goes into our grows and knowing we can produce our own life saving medication for my daughter so she can live a halfway normal life. Being able to have her capsules every single day is going to be amazing! Great community!!

That’s so badass, much respect to you! I also don’t smoke (maybe a couple times a year) so I grow for my mom and I’m the same way. Completely obsessed and truly enjoying growing.
