I think you maybe right. I see the amber spots on closer look. Some of them are hard to see but mostly that’s cause of health issues preventing my hands from being steady…. I actually need to harvest soon. My new light shows up today!!!
Hi mate, listen @Stoney1BudTokie is right, I see plenty of amber, where your at just perfect stsge to harvest, and for your next with this experience you can see more all the lower stuff that the light don’t reach they come off, lollipop and get rid of all buds that will be waffy and like pop-corn size, so bottom 3rd take all of next time you see big inprovment, but nice job @Scubashawn1183
I’ve got one of the 4 plants that stayed real small, its got thick buds on it though but still mostly white pistils seed breeder says it should be done by this time but should I wait to harvest til more pistils brown
You should look at the trichomes on the flower calyxes; when about 20% are amber, she is ripe. The manufacturer’s specifications usually don’t match. It usually takes 1-2 weeks longer.
I’ve got some apple betty going on week 12 flower. Think I need another week or 2. I flushed a few days ago and sticking with ph’d water from here on out. Any help would be cool. The whole picture is from last week. And that giant thick thing . Never seen that before. Second grow, soil, tent.
If it is apple betty from herbies make sure you are checking the trichomes and not using pistils to judge how far you have left. Mine finished right at 9 weeks but was still throwing fresh white pistils right up until they were chopped.
Awsome. Ill check later. I believe im on week 7 or 8. I’ll have to look where the trichomes are. For reason I thought the pistols were the same. Thank you for the help
