Indoor drying idea

Hello:victory_hand: I have an idea… I’m growing indoors for the first time, which also means I want to dry indoors…. The only problem is that my tent will still be occupied at that time… After much thought, I came up with this setup to still use my carbon filter from the tent and not have any smell in the house… Maybe you have some tips or ideas :victory_hand::flexed_biceps:

That looks good, should work like that. Ask @KilliczGe, if I’m not mistaken, he has already tried that.

Thanks for linking @herr_gruen

And first of all, yes. I’ve done it this way too.

I assume the “exhaust air to the growbox” arrow is the wrong way around. And the air should go into the tent.
Then I would possibly put one of the two openings (passive intake air is best) in the drying box higher up.
So that the air has to go once across the cardboard box.
If you have the inlet at the bottom and directly opposite into the tent, you’ll have a direct passage at the bottom and the air might remain static at the top.

But otherwise, the idea is always a good low-budget solution.

I had it the other way around, that the exhaust air has to go through the cardboard box before it flows out.

However, I removed this cardboard box today due to suspected mold :joy:
Don’t use it for longer than 2 years :face_blowing_a_kiss::victory_hand:t3:

Good luck, it’s sure to work out

Always a pleasure

I’ve also been drying exactly like that for about 1 year, with exhaust air going into the cardboard box, which, however, is divided into compartments inside, and the exhaust air runs

Cool idea with the segments.
This is how you effectively guide the air where it should go.
Mine was also rather quickly thrown together :joy::victory_hand:t3:

Great
