Oh okay, good to know. You’re getting solid growth in a short time though, looking nice.
The reservoir is on a turntable. There is a oscillating fan in the corner with CO2 coming out.
Wherever she is having problems stretching gets the direct fan blast. It’s been effective.
The urea is also helpful. Changed from grow big to grow big hydroponic. The nitrogen percentage was lower in the hydro version. No more premature yellowing.
Training is Lst and bud clips. That’s it. A lot of defoliation.
Hi Jamon, What size have your Tent?
70x70x200. My name is James, what’s up Cliff.
then I can better imagine the size of your plant. In photos the plants usually look bigger. It helps to know the space. I like your pot more and more. OK James, my crystal ball didn’t tell me that.
Cliff
I started 3 autos in the closet in Octopots. I used the three gallon because of space.
Gorilla Zkittles Auto, fast buds.
Hulkberry Auto, RQS
They popped within hours of one another. Fast Buds is kicking RQS butt.
Very impressiv!!!
There is no doubt, I got a real winner with that free seed. Soon we will see what kind of flowers she produces. She is drinking a gallon every day or two during stretch.
I forgot, I broke her a little in lst. maybe that’s why she went crazy.
like a slap on the butt of a horse. looks great and that trunk looks really fat. solid lady
My first failure with the Octopot and the blame rests squarely on my shoulders.
I kept the seedling in the germination pod too long. I also got extra water when packing the octopot since I always almost run out. I ended up using all the water and more soil than than usual.
When I transplanted the soil broke apart in my hands and I may have damaged the tap root. She was super stressed after the transplant.
Today I looked and she started flower and is too small to continue.
I am currently germinating a Northern Lights Auto seed and will be more cautious of the amount of water I am adding to the soil before I pack it down and I will be packing lighter. I think the last two were packed too tight
It made a decent root ball but very few roots made it to the reservoir
Excellente job!
Thank you, Eli.
I have learned, the best way to feed your Octopots, is to let them go dry and fill to the top.
I have been topping off and the water in the reservoir is foul. I am in the process of cleaning the reservoir and adding fresh nutes to each of the 4 plants I am growing.
Here is a pic of the newest addition to the garden
Auto Critical Orange Punch
Add a little hydrogen peroxide to your reservoir when topping off, a couple tsp per gallon will oxygenate your nutrient solution and help keep it clean.
I’m not familiar with the Octopot setup but if you can add an air stone to your res some way it helps keep algae and such from growing.
The octosleeves were a disappointment. Mold and algae growing on the outside. The roots bunched around the edge of the sleeve and never made it to the reservoir. The roots grew on the overhang of the strapped sleeve which keeps the wick up inside the sleeve.
These are Rain Science bags. Others are using them with great success. I am adding grommets for lst.
Can u Install this Pott in your Octopot system?
