Veg outdoors, flower indoors?

I’ve got two girls about six weeks into veg, and started two more that are just now at the end of their seedling stage, all four in coco, and in a grow tent. I plan to flip to 12/12 in another week, but I want to grow the two seedlings another month before flipping. I‘ve only one tent, so I’m thinking I might take the seedlings outdoors in a small greenhouse until I’m ready to induce flowering. Then I’ll put them back in the tent.

Are there any potential problems with this strategy?

pretty common strategy so id say go for it. the only cons i could think of is bringing bugs back inside when flowering or explosive growth from the few weeks outdoors but both pretty easy to manage in my opinion

You will need to gradually transition them to go outdoors, like hardening off seedlings. Putting them straight out there will shock the crap out if them. Also the bugs and stuff like @Smokey101 said. Going back indoors you are going to have to be very careful that you aren’t taking anything back inside with them. Other than that it should be fine.

What are you talking about? The topic says veg outdoors and flower indoors

And i gave advice on taking them outside for veg and back inside for flower so maybe a better question would be what are you on about?

there might have been a previous post that a user deleted cause i swear i saw something under your comment referring to lights and stuff but i also could have been high and in another thread lol so he might be referring to that.. maybe lol

Maybe. That would make more sense than the random question I guess but who knows these days lol.

@Smokey101 and @Crackadoo thanks, I hadn’t thought about bugs. But my question is a bit deceiving. My grow tent is in my backyard shed of a gambrel design, no air conditioning or insulation at all. There are gaps where the roof overhangs the walls, so it’s already open to bugs. (and a nosey squirrel lol) Except for an infestation of aphids a couple of years ago the only bugs I’ve seen are the occasional stink bug.

Still, I might build temporary housing in the shed for the seedlings, I do have my old fluorescent lights I can use. I probably won’t keep them in veg long, just enough to get maybe two colas on each.

Okay well that makes it a bit easier without having that to worry about. If you have lights you can use it could make it a bit more controlled on amount of hours even if it is just to supplement the natural light.
