I had a seeds that was not popping out of the soil, so I went digging. When I saw the root was growing in a circle I pulled it out of the soil. The end of the tap root had grown into the seed cap.

Hi, it was similar for me. I waited about 10 days before digging. I noticed that the seed had tried to root horizontally. Now it is in the veg.

I had a stem go horizontal. I had to stake it down and tie it the opposite way.
