Any help would be great first time growing using nutrients and got a great little set up in my house so far i think using ph of 6.5 for water and i only mix 1 liters of nutrients 1.5 mils each for each plant and water the rest of the way in 7 gallon fabric pots one strain is wedding cake and the other is orange kush
More or less your configuration could be fine, although it is better that you buy a thicker LED and remove all these bulbs that do not serve much purpose, however, but from what I saw, you use Advanced Nutrient and Grow, Micro, Bloom, these fertilizers are mineral. In other words, unlike the organic one, you have to always use them and not one day fertilizer and another water. Second point, the pH, for outdoor plants the right pH would be between 6.0 and 6.5, maximum indoors it is somewhat lower but if you grow with LEDs, a pH of 6.0 works super well. The last tip, start by adding from 0.1ml x L to liter from the beginning and when they are in flowering, increase it to 1ml x L
Look for an Advanced nutrition table because then you have to increase the products, only 1.5ml x L is fine for now but later the doses will be higher!
You need the Bud candy because without these the flowers do not gain weight, this product is amazing, it develops the flowers and loads more resin and gives it a very sweet and fruity smell and flavor, due to the sugars and carbohydrates it contains!
Awesome ive been looking for a chart like that that will help lots thank you also those lights are throwing 700 ppfd at like 8 inches surprisingly and there the cord to the light lol what light would you suggest the room is 6ftĂ—4ft
I don’t grow indoors so not much help here. @Papakat420 did a really nice set up that’s part DIY and I think he did it fairly budget friendly. I’m sure he can help guide you. He has a post on here called “first double run” or something along those lines where he has a lot of info on his set up
Soil looks awesome tho! Don’t forget you can amend the soil and reuse it for following runs
Ill look into that one awesome and what would you amend the s soil with to revive it?
If your just running the 2 plants this light will be enough for them both
I use it myself it’s 2x1 feet and getting good results from it. There is a bigger size thats 4x1 and does a much bigger area , but of course it’s more but worth it in my opinion.
I’m also using Advanced Nutrients and would recommend getting some flower nuets
This is the arsenal I’m using now and love the results.
Also at the stage your plants are in you should be using 4ml per liter or 15ml per gallon of the grow , micro and bloom for the rest of their life.
With your soil this is what I would run. Salt nutrients will kill that soil in 1 run and you’ll have to build it all over again. If you run organic that soil will last a decade and even more. I would also suggest watching the YouTube videos that build a soil has as well. You don’t need every nutrient/product on the schedule I linked above. I started with just craft blend and build a flower while following their lighting chart. Aside from the lights as others have suggested I would also suggest pumice or lava rock in place of the vermiculite. Perlite and vermiculite have a tendency to float to the top over time leaving a need to remix the soil and even replenish the stuff for more aeration.
I was looking at those too lol i was going to wait until i had a little more money before i went for a 4x4 for sure aha i got the 60$ amazon special for now but ill look more into viparspectra now aha and ok i was worried about giving to many so soon aha only fed them twice ill slowly pump up to that and damn i was looking at bud candy when i found this stuff on sale too hopefully they still have it when i get back there aha
Ill look into it more lol i was looking at it somewhat but a thing of gia green and other amendments i seen were way out of the budget right now aha im hoping i can get a couple clones and plant them out door by june when it warms up here what would you suggest for outdoor?
Outdoor I use build a soil as well. In the past I used 5 and 10 gallon pots this year I’m going with 100 gallon or maybe just straight into the ground if I’m brave. Having a tight budget was what pushed me organic. I can make teas to feed for free. There are things like KNF (Korean natural farming) that teach you to make your own fertilizers. And with build a soil, less is more is the basic philosophy. That coupled with making my own high quality soil that I can reuse over and over and over and it just keeps getting better each run. That all adds up to savings! I’m even to the point of having my own worm bin now so I never buy worm castings. If you have any questions or need advice I’m always around.
Also nothing wrong with salt/mineral based fertilizer like fox farms or advanced nutrients if it’s what you have. It’s what I started with at first. Having to pH water and mixing up my fertilizer every few days can be fun for some. I enjoy grabbing a hand full of 2 dry nutes, scratching them in every 2 weeks and never adjusting my pH for water. (my tap water is a pH of 9 lol) Find what makes sense to you and if it works out, run with it.
@BluntForceTrauma420
Advanced Nutrients has a PH perfect formula so it takes that part of the worry out.
Granted it’s not an exact level but within safe ranges for PH and if you use R/O water you never have to test for PH using them , they also offer a 6 month satisfaction guarantee. So if you run a group of autos an entire cycle and don’t like the outcome you get your money back in full.
I used to use sensi grow and bloom along with a few others by them. They were hands down the best synthetic nutrients I came across prior to how I grow now. I still have some left over that I use if I have a deficiency pop up to give time for my organic ammendment to break down. Kind of a syn-ganic approach. The more I’m learning with organics the less I rely on it now for corrections. But it definitely made things simple in the beginning.
Yea their great while learning everything and getting comfortable with growing. Eventually I might switch but for now Im still learning alot and for now it’s easier.
Sensi grow is what im going with for my next round, got that and some autopots ordered so should be a fun time switching everything around
Im sure you already do but make sure you have both A & B parts of Sensi. There’s a set for grow and a set for flower. My little sister bought me some Sensi but it’s for flower is the only reason I know this.
Just a heads up is all
