When is the best time to harvest the Buds

I am still not sure when its time to harvest

When about 20-30% of the trichomes on the flowers are amber-colored, they are ripe for harvest. It’s important to check the flowers and not the sugar leaves. The best way to check this is with a pocket microscope or a jeweler’s loupe with at least 60x magnification.

So it honestly depends if you want more of a couch lock and indica effects or if you want that buzzing sativa high. If you want more of a sativa high I would wait and watch until there is 1-3% amber TRICHOMES and 5% or less clear and majority cloudy that is peak time for sativs, but if you’re at let’s say 7 more days and it becomes 10-20% amber than it will have more of a couchlock effects.

You’re in week seven or eight, so you’re close, probably one to three weeks away. Examine the trichomes every few days for the signs Yvngstonie and Herr Gruen mentioned.

I’m fully aligned on this. I tried to push my last grow to the 20/30% and the weed was definitely more in the couch lock league.
