Why is she so leggy?

Any thoughts on why my plant should be growing so leggy. She is on 3rd node at 20d from germination and is about 15cm tall. I’ve been rigorously about keeping PPFD to 100-300 so can’t understand this. Is it common for White Widow ? This one from RQS.

You could bring the lamp a bit closer to the plant and see how it likes it. As long as it’s not stretching its leaves upwards in prayer :folded_hands: and there are no white spots on the serrations of the leaves, everything is fine. Not every plant is the same; some tolerate a bit more light than others. A little too much water can also cause some plants to stretch too much. You could also add some more soil; the plant will then grow more roots on the stem and have better stability.

Thanks Herrgruen. The newest leaves are indeed growing upwards, so I’ll move the lamp lower to get 300 PPFD. I think it is more likely due to an early overwater though as this is my first time direct to 5 gallon bag and I watered once to runoff. I’ll also add a bit more soil. I’m sure she’ll grow out of it and will thrive.
