Exactly @KilliczGe, don’t use the seeds from a hermaphrodite.
The chance that it will hermaphrodite again, especially from that genetic line, is incredibly high, and Snake is right about that. And if you already have others in the tent, it’s right to get rid of the thing or separate it, which is probably not possible due to space constraints. But I would say that the sacs are already open and pollen has been or was distributed.
What a shame, man, such a beautiful thing and then such crap. Hopefully it’s cloudy and milky enough that a nice head high will still be or already be there.
The only question is - Why? Genetics or stress-induced?
I’ve also been searching for the after-glow story, but so far I haven’t found anything, but especially the ones in the back are not as visible as the ones in the front, and there’s always a surprise left. I hope everything goes well.
With the soil moisture sensors, I currently have my doubts whether 30 - 40% is really the ideal. Those things only reach about 8 cm deep into the soil.
So I think, it could be that if it’s optimal at the top, it might be too wet deeper down.
Shit, who knows that! Now I’ll wait to see if the Fast Diesel shows some amber trichs soon. I haven’t checked anymore because I’m probably already in the garden.
I’ll let the sensors drop to 25% now and then I’ll see how far along it is. Today is flowering day 52, the first one finished on 56. I’ll let this one go a few days longer, until next week. And so I’m already getting started in parallel with the garden.
For that, the irrigation will also be completely changed, and I’m switching to Blumat. I bought the 12-piece set today, a tap – no, not for eating but for shutting off water, Hehehe – and a few connectors too. A bargain, on sale at Dehner.

Another credit for Ama… because they didn’t have the Tensiometer. Now Ama… wants a hundred. Well, so I ordered it from Grow… and because the garden bed later reaches more than 40 cm deep, I cautiously ordered 2 more carrots that also reach deeper for the middle, and a few drip distributors will be attached to them. This way I hope for consistent moisture in the Living Soil. Controllable with the Tensiometer, and then I can also plug in two of the sensors for comparison purposes to see what the optimum should be at the top so it’s not too wet at the bottom. I’m still cracking the secret of ideal moisture for Living Soil. A tank connection is also available here with Blumat, so I might be able to repurpose the Auto Pot Tank for it. The Blumat advantage;
If you add nutrients directly to the soil, the Blumat only releases water again when the substrate has dried back to the point. In my case, then, when molasses / compost tea is due for feeding and boosting the soil.
Always trying something new also keeps things exciting in the long run.
Anyway, yesterday I had another appointment with the dentist, and it wasn’t pleasant this time. Another root canal treatment on a ground-down tooth that is ceramic-crowned. Due to the inflammation at the root, the anesthetic probably wore off too quickly, and fiddling around with the nerve was really intense. Now came the announcement that in two months he wants to X-ray again to see if the inflammation is completely gone. That would be the fourth X-ray on just that tooth. If the inflammation isn’t gone,
he would surgically remove the inflammation. One thinks of pulling a tooth. Far from it; he wants to open it up, through the upper jaw bone. Cut out the tooth root along with the inflammation, drill whatever. He doesn’t say that the sinus cavity, nerves, or such can be injured, with all the unpleasant consequences arising from that.
If the inflammation doesn’t go away, he’ll pull it for me. I think that’s the plan. You almost feel like a test subject.
So I’m back in the background and I’m already looking forward to the second day of soup.
Have a nice evening and many greetings from Pflanzenpaule
