It’s been a welcome addition to my seed storage. Fits well inside my fridge, keeps light off them and everything is neatly organized.

Not much longer now until harvest time.
According to the fertilizer schedule, there are still 4 weeks left, I’m curious to see how it turns out

They were really cheap at Rewe.
Got them for a fiver, and the design was because my grandson collects the cards.
So I bought them for him and then got one for myself too. Had to trim a few packs with seeds so they would fit inside.
The tin was already full, and there’s still room in the binder. 
Order is half of life, and always steal with your eyes.
That’s how you get ahead.

My lady is now on day 34 of flower.
Just under half is done, and flushing multiple times with reduced nutrient solution has reduced the EC value in the medium from 3.5 to 1.7. Yesterday was the last time watering with Plagron Green Sensation PK 8/9.
Starting the day after tomorrow, Atami Bloombastic takes over with a PK ratio of 14/15.

Man, the day started off well already. While I was still lying in bed enjoying my first coffee, a young lady actually called. On behalf of the new landlord.
According to a neighbor, her heating wasn’t working and if I could have a look and check the oil right away.
I then kindly replied that the landlord could do it himself because I’m just a tenant too.
Not a caretaker, janitor, or anything like that.
A little preface to the whole thing!
Until December 25, I was the janitor here for over 10 years.
I also got a small extra stipend from the previous owner for it. That wasn’t the world, and it was still a small activity because I haven’t been fully able to work for 9 years now.
All approved by official medical officers!
The new landlord didn’t want a janitor and wanted to save costs, and the fancy guy is loaded. But also sly as a fox, and I don’t like that because he thinks that what I was meagerly paid for over 10 years, he can get from me for free. Now, I’m not completely stupid.
After my statement that he should take care of it himself, his call came shortly after. Again the same old song that everything is give and take, and incidentally brought up a bathtub faucet that had to be renewed recently.
Oh right, for things that are permanently installed, part of the rental property, where he has to ensure that everything runs flawlessly anyway. He considers that a gift.
I pay a lot of money for this place every month and don’t owe anything. That’s not a give on his part either.
He doesn’t have the right to boss me around, and we could take that to court because I could feel coerced by his constant requests.
Because I offered him several times.
If he wants my services, I want a piece of the pie too. Logical, right?
Trimming the hedges as well as mowing the lawn on the property.
Then it was said that the house community should take care of it jointly to keep costs low.
But if out of 7 parties in the house only three do it, most of it falls back on me again. Already told him without reaction, and today the clown says that I should just leave it then and a gardener would come every 6 weeks, to which I then said. Funny, then you can fork out the money and that would be way more expensive than I ever cost.
When he said that this would go into the utility costs, I replied that my position was billed the same way back then.
He said he just wanted to be fair to everyone.
Everyone in the house was in favor of me continuing as caretaker from the beginning because everyone was satisfied.
And it was his decision not to want a caretaker, allegedly because of tax advisors and so on.
And my decision is not having to kiss his ass and constantly do him favors.
So I don’t care that it’s an effort for him to come here to do everything himself. If you want something done right, do it yourself.
But now he comes around after all, saying it should be discussed so everyone is ready to see caretaker costs in the annual utility bill.
But first he thinks he has to get loud and threaten with stupid arguments like the faucet. Along the lines of, if something breaks then nothing will be replaced.
I can only laugh, and he couldn’t deliver anything better than that—so that the law is on my side to reduce the rent due to defects.
He probably realized for now that the people living here aren’t going to get down on their knees in awe of him.
That suits me just fine.
I find it cheeky what he’s pulling off. Everything could have gone differently, and whether I would even accept a job for him now, I’m not so sure about that anymore. Because then more is demanded than they are willing to pay, and that’s exactly where the gap between rich and poor in this country comes from.
Because rich people think they can and are allowed to exploit the poor.
As long as I pay my rent plus utility costs every month, I owe him nothing.
Sad when you have to make that so clear to the person opposite you.
And then these are things that aren’t just done in a flash.
The heating was off. Because the heating season hasn’t really started yet.
The pressure was far too low. 0.5 bar, in a house over 10 meters high you need a pressure of 1 - 2 bar.
Filling in water and letting the air out at the top is the absolute basics to start with.
Then a pin was stuck, meaning take the thermostat off and get the pin moving again so the radiator heats up again. What a complete idiot. 
I’m already praying that the day never comes when he comes to my apartment, being too demanding, too loud, and making shady threats.
That will be the day he learns to fly. Definitely.
Especially when you have to repeat yourself, it pisses me off eventually.
Took the job away from me out of stinginess and on top of that raised the cold rent.
Nope, it doesn’t work the way he imagines it. Made that clear again today and that subsequent calls like that are unwanted.
If it continues like this, I’ll consider it harassment and then there will be other steps, that weirdo.
Has the stairwell and basement painted and then rings around the neighborhood by phone asking if everything was done and if they could go down to the basement to check.
When I commission something, I check it myself.
If smaller places weren’t necessarily more expensive, I would have been out of here long ago.
I hope he understood it today.
He doesn’t need a janitor and I’m just renting and owe nothing.
He has this point of view of mine and must accept it.
I don’t love calls like that early in the morning at all.
But now the heating is back on and the neighbor has warm feet again in the morning.
So I’ve also turned the heating on a bit in the nursery so it gets a little warmer for them. I think around 20 degrees at night and 22-23 degrees during the day in the room is a bit cool for the little ones.
They are just germinating right now, but 25-28 degrees would be optimal so they get going a bit faster.
Today I’m not checking in either and will let myself be surprised by what I find tomorrow. Tomorrow I’ll have to open the tent to give everyone some water. So that’s everything done for today for now, and I’m going to smoke a fat one and lay down.
That was a bit too much agitation for me upon waking up today.
