Growing indoor in hydroponics aerogarden. A few questions would be based on height I would like to start into flowering phase will be doing some pruning soon. A few droopy leaves and a few that off color. Does any one see any issues to look for. Also what is the wattage for a full spectrum grow light that will be good for flowering the aerogarden light may not be enough. I am indoors btw. What else should I do for flower phase nutes etc. I don’t have a trellis or net set up not sure if it’s needed. Does Cal Mag help boost or speed up flowering process.
Your pH is off and its causing your problems. You’re not ready to flip.
I agree , just want to add that it looks like a magnesium deficiency from the leaf steam coloring. Keep it in veg until it recovers then flip if you want. Not sure if areogardens are for small plants only but the longer you veg the bigger it gets and larger harvest…but root area size is a factor to. Just depends on how big you want.
Too much nitrogen just letting you know. But I would cut the top off after the 5th set of branches, and let them get to an even level before flowering them. I would cut down the nutrients, and cut the top off and then give it 2 weeks to bounce back then put in into flowering. It also looks like possibly a calmag issue.
You should also look into your pH and ppm. Fix your pH to 5.8-6 ph. I would clean out the reservoir and dump it all out. Put in new distilled water that is pH’d correctly with nutrients that are at 50% of what the bottles say. Message me if you want any in depth help.
The ph is at 5.7 to 6 tests differently in parts of water hydro tank… I also use a oxygen pump for extra oxygen this plant has probably been in veg for 4 or 5 months it was a stunted growth and I randomly found the seed in a 8th I was smoking so the fact that it grew is shocking
Yes I would appreciate any help this is a seed from a 8th I had in a random bud of Kandy kush… seems it’s a female plant I’m assuming indica … I’ve been growing it in a water tank as you can see. It’s been in veg for maybe 5 months being I transplanted it when it was in seedling stage from pot to water because it wasn’t doing well in soil being I only had it in the window. This growth in the pictures occurred recent within the past 3 weeks it was half the size. So I know I should at least consider flowering at this point. As for the roots they look pretty good did a small trimming will do another this week. I’m using an oxygen tank for extra oxygen. I am not confident in the grow lights I’m using in pics not sure what wattage I need for growing cannabis. I ordered the calmag…try it wed
Also have some seeds if you wanna do a seed swap In near future the equilibrium genetics
It seems more like a sativa dominant plant because it is so tall. I would cut the top part of the plant off so that it can branch out and develop multiple main branches instead of one main.

Need to wait a little longer for the pics to upload. To me it looks like an indica because of the broad leaves ( and maybe a Kush seed)Sativa’s have more of a narrow leaf , and it’s starving for light and stretching for it alot…I could be wrong , I’ve never grown a Sativa so i have no personal comparison.
I agree, probably not a complete indica due to its stretch but definetly looks like an indica dominant hybrid. How would you suggest about going for a reset papakat? Like how much water, what ph, etc. how would you do the reset I’m just interested to know if your method could differ from mine any
If your getting different pH in different spots in your res tank you need more agitation in the res.
Me personally…I would take the size of the pot and double the size for water , 5 gallon pot,10 gallons water , either distilled or RO < my personal suggestion , use all of it to flush everything out to where it’s a fresh start with clean soil. Let it dry out then start nutrients at 1/4 strength and go from there.
I dont know much about their setup (assuming it’s all water) but if getting different readings at different levels of the water there is a lack of circulation , I would go to my local hardware store and get a small pond pump - one with at least a 4 foot lift and that should be fine.
Now correct me if I’m wrong but since it’s a bag seed it’s a photo and a could possibly be a male/female/ hermorphidite.
I would also keep it on an 18/6 schedule until healthy then flip.
If your having problems with PH use either distilled or RO water.
Advanced Nutrients is formulated to balance PH a little pricey but the guarantee makes it worth the money to me. I’m not paid by them , it’s just what I’m using and very happy with the results I’m getting.
P.S. if I were you and this is with all honesty…you’ll need to get them into bigger pots or your going have alot more problems when they get root bound there is not even close to enough space now let alone when they get bigger.

This got me curious so I went to one of my resources and got this article it comes out of NCSU. Just some additional insight.
So I included my recent log and the things I added I couldn’t get the whole ppm concept online I’m hearing lower than 300 is excellent for consumption but other blogs I’m hearing it should be higher if trying to flip but after I mixed my nutrient water it still read low 300’s. I’m also inquiring if anyone has any feedback on the amount of wattage lighting I need I was thinking of getting a hanging full spectrum led grow light. And possibly a make shift canopy to completely consume plant in dark or night hours. I also used a foliage spray and added calmag. I also did some pruning and lollipoped some leaves but I’m at the top of the light may remove the light and get a hanging grow light instead plant is about 21 inches in height the roots are good mostly white no soggy roots.
To answer the room the weed shop I got it from said it’s a indica hybrid. This grow by the way is all in a hydroponic aero
This is how the plant use to look before I took it out of soil and back into hydro this was maybe a month or so ago when I transplanted it back to h20
Just a couple things…
If your mixing by the liter follow the directions for ml you’ll get better results , if your mixing by the gallon remember that a gallon is only 3.785l , so if it’s saying 4ml p/l then the ratio for one gallon will be 15ml. I use cal-mag and use 15ml p/g indicas love magnesium but you need to be careful because their genetics can produce purple stems especially in lower temp settings.
I’m not sure where that soil came from but it had a lot to do with the condition it was in , to many actual sticks and branches in it. My suggestion if you decide and try soil again a lot of people here say Fix Farm is good but I wouldn’t know from personal experience. But I can tell you that if you get the Scott’s flower soil it is mild enough for seedlings I would just add some more perlite and maybe some worm castings to it.
I don’t know about hydro or areogardens so I can’t really help there but as far as lighting I would get the Photone app and during veg you want 6-800 ppfd about 24 inches from the top of your plant and when you start flower they need over 1000 ppfd , I’ve heard over 1200 ppfd don’t do much unless your using Co2 but I could be wrong.
My concern though is the amount of room your roots have it does not look like enough , could get root bound and stunt the growth or some plants take all the nutrients and you have a couple that starve and die. I would strongly suggest that if possible get them in their own container at least 5 gallon each you will get better bigger plants which equals bigger harvest. I’m personally getting close to a 1/4 pound off one auto to smoke after dry and cure.
The reason for the chips in the pot is from organic pot soil. In either case I will try soil in the future on an autoflower. As for the current hydroponics aerogarden grow for my plant it seems as if it’s flowering or in early stages. My concern is the calmag didn’t help. And it’s been tough getting info on forums seems to not be a common option to grow. Leaves seem droopy. I think it can only be three things root rot ( which seems common for hydro growers possibly from fungal bacteria in some water) poor lighting from the stock lighting that came with item, or humidity. I am unsure if it’s humidity as it’s a mild winter in my region, my lighting may not give off enough wattage, or it’s a fungus , mold or root rot attack. I was considering neem oil but wasn’t sure if i could being it’s in early stages of flowering it seems.
