ahh okay either way i feel like this is going to be my biggest yield per plant avg from the looks of how many tops produced so far
Someone mentioned just hanging the plants whole, upside down in the trellis and I will definitely do that next time. One word of caution that I learned two grows ago is that I kept tucking and tucking and ended up with a ton of small colas. Trimming was impossible too. Just a heads up to not overtrain them with the net
I hang my whole plant with the trellis to dry and cut the branches out one by one. It’s the easiest I’ve found with a trellis net. I haven’t used a net since getting the vcure so I’ll probably have to take it branch by branch while the plant is standing which I think will be harder than when it’s hanging upside down.
I always made my own screen out of string, it takes a little while to weave at the start but it costs almost nothing and I just chopped it apart at the end.
i think that will be the last tuck job for that trellis and i got 2 more coming that ill work with but yeah ill def be cautious of doing to much to them in hopes to avoid that. and much respect for the heads up lol
i was initially was going to do that but said fk it and just some 2x4s lol. but if i do end up having to replace these ones ill probably just make my own next time. plus i could of used a net with smaller squares for more tops cause im pretty sure a few will have doubles in them. ill know in the morning
That is another big difference, you get to choose the spacing of the grid. I went somewhere around 2 inch squares which is small compared to any bought screens i have seen
yeah i couldnt find any with smaller squares on Amazon but we shall see what happens lol
Day 7 with 12h light and the critical is stretching upwards well.
Special Kush 1 is slowly starting to stretch too and is slowly gaining height.
grape soda automatic flowering week 5 has begun and I’m thinking about removing a few leaves.. what do you think? The overlapping ones, especially at the bottom.
Or just leave them?
looking beautiful and love the canopy. as for thr autos i never saw any harm removing a few fan leafs that were blocking sites and if unable to tuck them removing a small handfull should be okay
If memory serves it was around 8-10 weeks
Harvested - Platinum Cake & Northern Lights
I checked the trichomes on Thursday and they went from sparkly white to dull. There were about 10%+ amber. I cut them down early Friday morning, a half hour before lights on. Removed the fan leaves. Using Brandon Rust’s dry & cure method.
Temp 70 - 72°
RH 40 - 45%

He has an excellent vlog on youtube explaining the science behind it.
If anyone uses a similar vaporizer, I’d appreciate temperature and session length suggestions.
It is adjustable from 176 degrees Celsius to 240 degrees Celsius.
120-240 seconds duration.
In herb mode.
In concentrate mode, it would be 1.6V-2.6V
And 20-60 seconds
I’ll figure that out when the hash is ready ![]()
I use between 350-400f for all my dry herb vapes.
The little one looks good. What are you doing with her now until you have your setup ready?
