Anyone that wants to follow again
I noticed you water every day and feed!
I was only giving nuts every 2 or 3 days- but since Iv checked your log couple days ago Iv noticed they do drink it use it up, so now I’m doing the same and the buds in a couple days have hardened cheers @Stoney1BudTokie
Check out the log, just updated with a bunch of close up canopy photos, i do have a runt in the back
Look at the stretch on those!
Yeah the haze really pops out on her, i should had done a second top on the mainstem to remove the V and takr 40 percent of the energy to the outside branches.
Some job @Stoney1BudTokie, I’m just trying to picture your finished day before harvest imagine how they will look compared to your last grows, really nice work pal,
Hey pal are you doing more strawberry cough again cause I know you got Load of lovely clones, or did you get anyone to take some off you, if I was living close I would of loved to get 4 off you, sometimes better than buying a seed, and you’ve got a lovely healthy plant, well cheers for updating mate
@lin_diesel @Ratch33 @Yogi420420
Just want to let you know about topping and where i screwed up and why they stretched so hard during flowering. So missed one topping that would had distributed 40 percent of the energy to the lower outside branches. By removing the V on the second top, allows for the rest of the branches to catch up, and grow evenly. This helps conserve room vertically. After that second top removing the V, you move to the branches that take over as the main and do the same thing until all branches are main branches and it creates that Hanukha candle look.
So are you saying clip where the straight line is taking out that larger middle stockor did you clip previously where the circle is (looks that way)…? Thanks!
Yeah first top during veg is where the circle is, that will create the v branch off, wait a week and then take that v out where i drew the line, ill draw something up when i get the chance and show. But with that being said, that would had allowed me not to remove all that lower growth and create a nice even cannopy from all 8. Next time ill get it down.
So you’re going to clip that large middle branch where the straight line is you drew? Seems like a lot of plant you’re taking away
No not now, next run just using that as an example, shes in her 4th week flowering, you would be correct that would be bad
Yep couple of the taller ones getting way too close to the light, i dont want to super crop being im 4 weeks into flowering
Grow log updated, did a defoliation
Hi a @Stoney1BudTokie, I can imagine that you and gone through this many times, but what’s your fix?
Maybe with the bamboo stick along each of them pull them out a little and tie off, move up do the same with no stress and I’m sure that’s that, level
Just an idea, you’ve probably thought of it looking great man
Hey @Stoney1BudTokie I think I’m about to experience a similar issue with my girls…they’re getting so tall but look very strong and beautiful just like yours. To solve this issue, one of my buddies who grew commercial for awhile recommended using a very low dose of phosphoload to halt vertical growth (1mL/gal 1 time during week 2-3 of flowering) but I’ve heard a lot of controversy surrounds the use of that chemical. I’d like to hear yours and @Deanroche’s opinion, and also could you tell me what this device is that you’re using in the picture above? I want to avoid using p-load altogether if I can without burning the plants
Heck no, you never want to introduce chemicals like that. I missed a topping is all. I watered, waited for the stems to be pliable and put a LST clip and bent the tops over that were near the light.
Great job @Stoney1BudTokie they look so nice and like they’re getting ready for big explosion of lovely strawberry cough bud- can’t wait to see these girl pot on weight mate, nice work👊
