In General / Fridge Drying, someone ordered one. You can wait until he has it and then ask how it is. Then you’ll have it first-hand.

I looked at it. I think he ordered the VCure at the mentioned price. Unfortunately, the Cannatrol is almost 3 times more expensive but probably a bit bigger. There’s still a little time until harvest. Time to get smarter. Have a nice day and greetings from Paule

Yes, the names are funny. I can only say that the Zombie Death Fuck is quite potent after smoking and tastes pleasant too, and the yield, even at a very low height, is impressive. I’ll say this much: it yielded 49.9g, though thanks to multiple  partial harvests. 12 nodes on an 80cm tall lady. Now the rest will be finished, and then we’ll see.

Happy grow

Hi my dear Growlings :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::victory_hand:,

Now a question for all you basement Growlings out there…

I don’t know which regions of Germany you’re all from. But the nights are getting colder and colder here… Even down to 7° C  … Last night. But during the day, it’s supposed to reach up to 29° C.

So the question for me now is, should one start putting heating mats in the tents already? (It’s still summer, technically. On paper. Somewhere. Or something.)
I’ve been thinking about it for a few days.
What do you say?

Grow on everyone :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::victory_hand::sign_of_the_horns::+1::ok_hand::cloud::cloud::cloud:

@Grownope Then I already know that I’ll probably grow one of those by the window next year. First, I’ll wait to see how it tastes to me

The Jealousy is still not in flower. Since it’s a Cali strain, indicated for early to mid-October, and in California, there were already less than 14 hours of daylight on August 1st, I think it triggers flowering at 10 hours of darkness. We’ve only had that since yesterday, a month behind, so to speak. That would be November, and I have no way to put the 2m tree indoors and light it. In the future, I need to pay attention to what is suitable for outdoor growing in our latitudes and has a minimum of 26% THC.

Yes, it was quite cold two nights ago, so much so that even in the house at 18 degrees in the morning, it was too cold for me. Thanks to the outdoor sensor, I’ve set the heaters so that if it’s below 14 degrees outside, they’ll turn on at night to ensure 19 to 20 degrees in the room.

In the cellar, it’s an even cooler affair, and yes.

I would put out heating mats or anything else that warms there.

It’s all about keeping temperature fluctuations as small as possible, because no one can tolerate 27 degrees during the day and 7 at night in the long run.

@snAke

I saw that thing and unfortunately, not much fits in it, and you’d have to buy 5-7 of them to get by reasonably. Then calculate that whole thing times 5 or 7, and the amount that adds up, you can directly buy something decent. Whether that thing delivers what’s advertised is another matter. And you have to dry beforehand, and who knows if there’s still 70% residual water in the flowers. So, you’d have to buy something extra to measure that.

That’s only for curing and has nothing to do with Flo rganics. Seems to be from Poland, that part.

So, my decision is made. Already received contact and a reply today. A grow shop in Aachen sells the Cannatrol.

And it’s in stock, so you can drive there. Pay and take the thing directly with you. It fits in the car with packaging. Already measured. The lady of the house is already in a mild mood with a Tefal pan set and a Stoneline roaster, and what also plays into my hands is that the dishwasher has been acting up for some time. She’ll get a new one, because why bother having something 6 years old repaired.

So, I’m going to Aken soon, as the Dutchman says, and get the apparatus. 65 W is cheaper than a refrigerator consumes. Pre-set programs so that, for example, the temp remains stable at 18 degrees and less. Also stable humidity, which makes drying, curing, and storage possible in one. Drying up to 1 kg wet and storage up to 2 kg dry. The Vcure from Vivosun is coming soon and is half the price. But in terms of technology, there are no top reviews about Vivosun in general.

Probably very susceptible. And the Vcure was only a prototype so far, and no one has used it or can say anything about it to this day.

Who likes to buy a pig in a poke?

What’s really cool about it is that you don’t have to dry anything in the tent anymore, because especially when taking cuttings, space quickly becomes an issue, which I then won’t have anymore.

So, I’ve been thinking and searching for some time, and the decision has been made. A good 5 weeks until the first one is ready for felling, and shortly before that, I’ll take a trip and get the thing.

Greetings from Pflanzenpaule

As a basement kid, I can say that since I also have a thermo-hygrometer in the basement, directly at the air intake, it’s really constant down there for me. In the morning, the sun hits the other side of the house, and in the afternoon, the balcony protects the basement room from heat radiation, so it’s always 18-20 degrees whenever I check. Currently. So that’s fine for me without heating.

Temperature from just now outside the tent.

I noticed something with my Tangarine Dream and I’m asking you if it’s good or bad :joy:

Otherwise, it looks pretty good, I just put two poles on the left and right to keep the walls where they should be. The new fan pulls well, even on level 1.

Then another hello to everyone.

Uh - wait, I just need to quickly check where I stand today.

Aha, day 56 from germination, so when the beans were placed in warm moist soil. Approximately 28 growth days followed about 20 seedling days, and today is flowering day 9.

So, the second week of flowering is underway.

Today I did bring another shoot of the Amnesia to the net and here and there removed larger fan leaves that had robbed the underlying shoots of light.

An irrigation of the Auto Pot in the early morning and from above, each pot additionally received 1 liter of water with 5/5 ml molasses/Lab and 0.5 gr. Super Microbe Boost X. In conjunction with the irrigation, about 1.8 liters of water went into each pot today. I find that watering only from below, from the middle upwards, leaves the soil too dry, and then no nutrients can be dissolved from above. For that, moisture is needed.

Despite watering from above, the Auto Pots were quickly empty below as well.

The shoots had meanwhile approached the lamps in places by 38 cm, and now in the 2nd week of flowering, they are supposed to continue to rise, so today I raised the lamps a bit higher again to 45 cm distance. I also placed two opposing fans a bit higher, ensuring good air movement. The lights have been off for an hour now, and the humidity is around 58% at still 26 degrees.

Later I will adjust the lighting time to be able to catch some of the warmer afternoon.

If it ran from 4 AM to 4 PM, tomorrow it will run from 5 AM to 5 PM.

The heater in the grow room, I have set the thermostat so that if it gets too cool at night, 20 degrees are maintained. I don’t want to get up in the cold in the morning either. Today I took a few pictures of how it looks today.

1756220527123

1756220516630

That worries me a bit! Although I have lost 10 kg.

The area in the tent is 120 x 120 cm.

The net is at about 63 cm above the ground and about 30 cm above the pots.

And you can see that with lollipopping, a lot still needs to go in flowering week 3. In the front and on the left side, I see no problem, but how do I get to the Jamaican in the back right? I don’t know because I don’t fit down there. Shit!

1756220977083

1756220963390

Above the net, you can already see that many shoots have moved upwards, which I am now allowing because I no longer see a way to lay anything down or around.

1756221251302

Only with the Amnesia did I find a spot to bring the shoot to the net again.

1756221453944 The Jamaican in the back corner has really caught up and also overgrown quite a bit.

I see no signs of deficiency.

Now I’m waiting for the delivery person to ring to bring me nematodes and predatory mites, which will then be applied tomorrow. Since I do this at the beginning of the run and then in early flowering, it keeps fungus gnats and incidentally thrips and co. away.

So I no longer run through the house with the vacuum cleaner to suck escaped fungus gnats from the ceiling. Cool and worth the money to me.

Then let’s hope it continues to go well. Plants-Paule wishes you a nice evening.

Oh yes, the cuttings in the propagator are rooting. I’ll take the 2 strongest ones and feed them mineral nutrients. Something different for a change.

6 years is not old for a dishwasher. OK, depends on the manufacturer. My Miele was about 15 years old when a spare part for 80 Euros plus tax broke. I used to do Miele service and can repair everything myself, as long as there are parts. Washing machine the same, over 15 years old, runs and runs and runs. Never gets fabric softener, otherwise I probably would have had to repair it already. Dishwasher only with dishwasher powder, never tabs.

The Keeper of Light is awesome.

Nutrient excess?

I would say; they look really well-fed and satisfied. But it’s not burnt yet. A little less and it will be fine. I had that with the Jamaican and couldn’t do anything because everything was already in the soil. Now under stronger light, it’s doing fine.

There’s a Samsung here. Some sensor is acting up. It won’t stop pumping out water, and now I got error code C4, no water. But it does have water. Good if you can repair it yourself. If a technician comes, you’re out 500 euros, and a new one costs 400. For that, I’m not calling anyone. Unfortunately, it’s often like that.

That’s also okay, especially in the basement where it can get cooler, it’s better to come in the evening and bring in the warmth from the day. Because of the hot days and the attic, I did it that way, but now that it’s not so hot anymore, I go more into the afternoon because it’s warmer then, but towards the end, I go out earlier again to not exceed 25 degrees. Cheers

Well, well, you’re in a hurry, and all good things come in twos.

I already had this on my radar and had looked into it, and was also planning a meeting for tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I didn’t find anything definitive.

They are definitely pre-flowers. A female plant usually has one or two stigmas, white hairs, on such a growth, which I cannot see. So it’s possible that it’s a hermaphrodite, meaning it’s intersex.

If there are only 2 for now, you can snip them off, preferably with a wet finger to avoid releasing pollen when squeezing.

Thoroughly check the plant, and do so repeatedly.

If such formations have stigmas, it’s female, and the stigmas emerge from the tapered part.

Flowers develop from these.

No stigmas? Then remove it or separate it from the others and see if the hairs still appear.

I would consider these two options, because if there are only a few sacs and they are removed early, the rest can be saved.
