Show off your Ladies

Hey folks, another weekend is coming to an end, speaking of; nearing the end!
= Time for me to light one up after work.
I need to see how I’ll manage with the photos and if I can still deliver something today. I haven’t eaten yet and was in my indoor garden until just now.
Today, everyone received another round of all-round care.
In the big tent, water was needed again. Today, for the last time with molasses/LAB Ferment. Dead, yellow, sucked-dry foliage was removed from all three. Yep, it’s late autumn and two are nearing their end, and Thursday is cautiously targeted for day 62 of the given 60-65 flowering days. But I will definitely check the Trichs again before the chop to be as close to the maximum as possible!
Since I don’t yet know if I’ll recondition the Living Soil after harvest, in case I’m short a few liters of soil when the fresh batch starts.
Today I added nematodes to the water in the middle watering pass, giving the Jamaican a bit more, as she still has a good 2 weeks left. And I still want to keep the gnats well under control so as not to experience swarms at the end.
But this Grow went perfectly this time. Taking pictures also takes time, and eventually, it was Gizmo’s turn to have his special day.
Meaning, a solo tour with me!
In between, the clones had their trays filled in the morning and a little extra afterward before I set off.
Here today with fresh Lactic Acid Bacteria!
When I was ready around three, I really got to work on the clones today.
Man, it was so overgrown, especially under the Scrog. And since today is Flowering Day 20, the planned defoliation took place. The big defoliation, removing everything under the Scrog up to about 10 cm below it. Above the Scrog, I also defoliated significantly.
On Clone 1, there were 2 leaves that looked a bit sucked dry and dull. Well, firstly, this Cookies OG Strain probably starts to fade very early.
And then they are under 100% light, at a distance of under 40 cm, which brings very high light intensity.
So today I moved the lamp to about 45 cm distance to reduce the intensity a bit.
Around the stems, I freshly distributed 4 tablespoons of worm castings today, and on top of that, 2 tablespoons of Flo solid fertilizer, mixed it a bit and worked it in. Plus 1 T.L. of deficiency remover. A Top Dress, in short.
After all the brutal violence I inflicted upon them, I thought I’d do something good for them so they could regain their strength.
The third and final watering today did not go over the trays, but into the soil, poured around the stems over what had been applied, and the water also contained a dose of SF Nematodes against fungus gnat larvae, but more as a preventive measure. It looks very clean, no plagues.
And some Mycorrhiza Soluble was part of it, which should help keep plenty of beneficial fungi in the soil, although the Flo fertilizer already contains Mycorrhiza and Trichoderma strains.
Of course, to avoid bringing in any pests with today’s great weather, because I had a lot to do in the tents, I first hopped out of my street shoes and also out of my pants and top. With my daughter’s cool hat, I had to go through it today and remove a tremendous amount of green, and a lot of beautiful little buds that didn’t grow high enough fell.
But what’s still above the Scrog should be enough and will now get significantly fatter.
Oh man - that’s how I get it over with, letting you partake in the sight.
The late flowering in the big tent today, Day 108 - Flowering Day 58!
The Cookies OG :backhand_index_pointing_down:

A new pistil is still emerging. But she is definitely in her last breaths. A few more days!
I’m curious if her clones will also deplete their leaves so early. Because for her, it started in the fourth week of flowering.
The next one that will probably also find her end in the coming week is the
Strawberry Kush. She is already in the harvest window but has not yet reached her maximum.
I’ll get that!

Quite sticky, this lady.

Her fade has now also increased, and she is sucking out her nutrient reserves.

As it looks in her hair in some places;
It’s still darkening right now. Man, she’s resinous. An awesome spectacle :ok_hand:
From the point that she came along totally sluggish and stunted in growth.
She caught up awesomely from the flowering stretch and developed into a stunning sight, and with that, the one seed I still have has earned its right to also grow, and I’m curious about her strawberry flavor. Therefore, the good one will be dried by me at a constant 16 degrees Celsius, starting with 62% RH and then lowering to 60% to allow for slow drying.
Because the strawberry aromas already evaporate at 18 degrees Celsius and above.
What remains is the Jamaican, and she still needs a good two to three weeks. A Sativa-dominant one, after all.

It’s getting more and more yellow now, but the flower counts. That’s important.

But fat nugs. That’s what she delivers.

Now more and more hairs are coloring. Oh, it’s nice.
It’s slowly beginning that their heads are getting too heavy, and therefore their legs are weakening. And since the good one still has a few days ahead of her, she probably hasn’t reached the end of the bud swelling phase yet. They could still gain some more weight. The first one didn’t have such fat and long nugs.
So I’ll switch to the smaller dwelling, to the Cookies OG clones, but I’ll keep it short there and mainly show Clone 1, where ambient pictures of both are also visible. I also need to finish up.
I’m hungry. And time is running out.
Okay dokey - the clones today, Flowering Day 20, freshly nourished, lollipopped, and defoliated, I want to see what all the strength can now direct upwards!

It stood so dense before me when I completely opened the junk room.
You don’t even know where to start.

But nice with access from almost all sides

the bucket filled up quickly, and with a little pressing, I didn’t even need a second one. :joy:

I think it was handled well like this. A shame about the many mini buds down there. Those that ended up in the bucket.

I could claim!
That I only had a hat on.
Because of the critters from outside.
I considered, like a lecher, falling upon the women.
So revealingly they stood before me.. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Something is brewing.

Look at the canopy.
The Critical, left side, is hopefully stretching already :joy:

First off,
Installed the third fan in the pot area, blowing sideways.
Starting tomorrow it goes to 13h.
And by Sunday it will be 12 (hours). Happy growing :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::alien_monster:

Meanwhile, in the 18h tent, it looks like this.
Grape Soda has recovered well and has already been lollipopped.
Cereal Milk in the 12L pot also looks healthy and is slowly growing.

Ahoy. :pirate_flag:
I’ll show the others another time :call_me_hand:t4::face_blowing_a_kiss:

Looks good in your tent. It won’t be long until it’s nice and full. I’m curious to see what you harvest this time.

The Critical Kush also makes it easy due to its extreme lateral growth.
I’m afraid I’ll soon have to weave it around the Special Kush 1 :joy:
This one has a very strong branch structure and can barely be moved further.

Those are definitely the Critical Gene, I’ve seen a few bushes of those, they grow quite wide.

Hallole and Paule is looking around.
Today there was some light watering for the big and small ones.
In the large tent, there was a closer look on flower day 60 at the Cookies OG and the Strawberry Kush.
According to the breeder, they are given 60 - 65 flower days!
And this time it’s very close.
The Cookies OG today

Another snapshot under the Scrog where only the C. OG was laid out.

It was already totally milky and shimmering there too.
This Cookies OG looks really fantastic on flower day 60, especially with those beautiful violet tones.
The plant is extremely close to optimal ripeness. It is definitely already in the harvest window.
I see very good development:
Cloudy/Milky: The overwhelming majority of the trichomes are milky white. This is the signal that the THC content has reached its peak.
Amber: I already see some amber heads distributed over the flower. I would estimate it to be about 5-10%. This indicates that the psychoactive effect is beginning to shift towards a more relaxed, body-like effect.
There are hardly any clear trichomes left to see. The plant is almost “done” producing new trichomes.
Almost all hairs are already brown and dry.
Autumn coloration (Senescence): The large fan leaves are clearly yellowed, and the plant shows the desired “senescence”, i.e., it is consuming its last nutrient reserves. This is great for the taste after harvest.
For a balanced high (head & body): this is the classic harvest time.
Therefore, I will harvest in 3 days.
The Strawberry might need about 5 to 7 more days.
To also get to around 10% amber.
It has reached its THC maximum.

This looks like a really successful Strawberry Kush – the flowers are magnificent and massive.
The plant is very close to the harvest window, but not quite there yet for its full potential.
The majority of the trichome heads are already milky white. This means the THC content is at its maximum.
I only see isolated amber heads on the calyxes.
To avoid having the Cookies OG drying and then disturbing it because the next one has to be added three days later.
I have decided to leave both for 2 more days and then harvest both on flower day 63 on Friday.
So today there was only 1 liter of water per pot, just to keep the soil from drying out, for the sake of soil life.
This works out well when the two come out of the Cannatrol after the Dry and Cure phase.
Then the Jamaican can go in there, as it still has a good 14 to 17 days anyway.

It already has fat nugs and is still in the Bud swelling phase.

The pistils are coloring more and more, and it has also gotten a bit more resin.
Today it received 2 liters of water, again with some Magnesium Sulphate and Calcium Sulphate dissolved in the water.
I also added some Super Microbe Boost X and some Trichoderma to the soil via the water. It will then spend its last days alone in the large tent, centered under both lamps.
I believe that this time it turned out to be very tasty things again.
In any case, two are scheduled for harvest on Friday, and I’m already curious about the yield.
Very firm buds and some massive parts.
I am considering, coupled with the light intensity, which I have only operated at 80% so far.
To provide the lower pot area with 15% solid fertilizer for the Living Soil.
Since it ran very low on pests, I will refresh the soil after harvest. Dispose of the top layer, pep it up with worm humus and coco, then re-fertilize and let it rest for three weeks.
Soon I can start with 6 new strains. So far, the humidity has played along wonderfully.
36% in the room made it easy to consistently run at 40 to 45% in the tent towards the end.
I have now tried to cultivate Trichoderma. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find wheat grain as a carrier material and used buckwheat instead.
I sterilized it and inoculated it with Trichoderma.
In a few days, I will see if it works.
And another day is over.
Oh, how much I’m looking forward to the harvest.
Greetings from Paule

Hope that works, because buckwheat is “only” pseudocereal and not real wheat

You can get wheat grain at every kiosk :joy::joy::call_me_hand:t4: Cheers :clinking_glasses:

Hehe, not the wheat grain.
But the grain for the chickens.

If it doesn’t work out with the pseudo wheat
Then it was only 1.5 tsp Tricho wasted.

Maybe I’ll be lucky because even a blind chicken finds a grain.

There is wheat in birdseed. The whole thing sounds interesting. How did you inoculate the grain?

I think organic wheat grains are also available at Rewe, otherwise at DM.

Hello @herr_gruen and also all those interested in starting a Trichoderma culture.
Very simple and easy!
Considering the costs, one can start a multiplication from good Trichoderma spores, which makes the product more durable and thus cheaper in the end.
So, - the carrier material is normal wheat grain, what you feed to chickens.
You put that in a clean glass.
A pickle jar or something.
For the first time, only a small amount of grain. This has to do with the drying phase later.
Wash the grain and let it soak in water for 12 hours.
Pour off the water and cover the moist grain.
So, cover the glass with aluminum foil.
Then it goes into the oven for 1 hour at 150 degrees.
To sterilize!
We only want to multiply Trichoderma and no other fungal spores.
Once the glass with the wheat grain has reached room temperature, proceed sterilely.
Boiled water that is still at 23 - 24 degrees.
200 ml of water in a measuring cup. Sterilize the cup beforehand.
Sterilize the teaspoon and stir two heaped teaspoons of Trichoderma into the water until the Trichoderma powder is dissolved.
Now, the liquid is distributed with the spoon over the wheat in the glass, and the wheat is moved occasionally until it is well moistened with the Trichoderma solution.
Put the aluminum foil back on the glass, so the whole thing can still breathe a bit, and place it in a cupboard at room temperature. Optimal 22 - 24 degrees.
After a week, spores, silvery, whitish, greenish, should be visible. However, it stays for a good 2 weeks until it has turned very greenish.
Then put the colonized wheat in small portions into paper bags so it can now dry, and the mold will turn dark green to black.
Once dried, it lasts for 1 year.
1 tsp of it now and then in 5 - 10 l of water, or 2 tsp into the planting hole, and/or occasionally worked into the soil around the stem keeps the soil healthy.
Healthy Soil = Healthy Plant!
In the search bar on You T. (YouTube) Multiply Trichoderma!
You can find videos about it there.
Since there is a lot of junk on the market, this is an opportunity to provide yourself with good starting material more cheaply and well in the long run.
So, it’s clear that my first glass is in progress.
I am waiting for the cultures to show.
Today I started up the Cannatrol.
The harvest planned for Friday will take place tomorrow morning.
The Cookies OG is at a good 10% Amber. The Strawberry has reached its maximum THC, and now one day more or less doesn’t matter anymore.
Rather, it’s now about the harvest timing.
On Friday, I would have to take them down at midday during their light cycle when they are running at full speed.
Tomorrow morning my wife/partner is here, and she can take Gizmo for a walk.
This gives me the chance to take out the Strawberry half an hour before the lights come on and place it between the tents. This way, it won’t get any more light for now, and I’ll then cut out the C. OG. Untangle it from the Scrog.
When the sunrise starts, the two will be out, and the Jamaican can calmly ramp up its production, and the two will then be prepared for drying.
Without being exposed to light again.
Really taken down during the resting phase.
This will certainly reflect on the flavor profile again.
Many greetings from Pflanzenpaule

Today I quickly drilled a few more holes in the pot, had forgotten that I needed some for the hooks. Afterwards, I bent her last two shoots horizontally, very gently of course. Here are a few pictures. Fat Gorilla

the strange thing is that the stem continued to grow in height after topping the tip, almost 4 cm so far.

Pink Runtz

stayed at the height where I topped it, like the others, as I’m usually accustomed to.

Sherbet Queen

and finally the Green Gelato

and here’s a panoramic view

Wishing everyone a pleasant evening

Good morning,
yesterday I was so exhausted that I couldn’t even type a word in here.
Shortly before the lights came on, I put the Strawberry in darkness and then cut the Cookies OG from the SCROG.
The Jamaican got another 2 liters of water, and from 8 AM, the remaining defoliation of the Cookies began, and the buds were wet trimmed.

1774596096805

Around 2 PM, the good one was then loaded for Dry Mode.
I then cut the Strawberry from the stem, and it’s hanging upside down in the dark between the tents.
Here I managed to load another 125 gr wet trimmed of it.

The rest follows today. Because 8 hours of sitting and snipping.
My butt really hurt from that.
I just hope I can still get the rest of the Strawberry completely into the Cannatrol.
It only holds 1 kg wet, and I’m already at almost 600 gr wet that’s already in.
But there’s still a lot of Strawberry hanging.
I’ll have to extend the drying by another day so that the rest that still comes in also gets 5 days. 17.7 degrees, at 62% RH, they are now drying gently and becoming very hard.
So I’ll jump out of bed and move my bones, take care of a few things, and then dedicate myself to trimming again.
Stay High friends.
Oh yes, and High, I was. Because I got out of my smoke rhythm due to all the busyness.
So true to the motto;
first work, then pleasure.
So the first joint was only at noon.
Hours late.
Hoho, that hit hard. Wonderful. Greetings from Pflanzenpaule

Hey everyone.
Yesterday, the rest of the wet Strawberry was trimmed and put into the drying cabinet.

Today, the sponge cup will be added so it doesn’t get too dry.
Then it’s time to check on the clones.
I haven’t had time for that in the last 2 days.
Hopefully they haven’t grown too close to the light.
There’s still life in the worm bin. They are crawling around and already eating whatever falls in.
But it will be a few moons until I can harvest from there.
Now I’m starting the day and wish you all a nice day.
Greetings from Pflanzenpaule

Oops - hey guys, things are getting tight, and the Jamaican is breathing down my neck.
Yesterday I looked - she stood yellowed before me, what an autumnal sight.

That was Flowering Day 64, beginning of the 10th Flowering Week out of 9 - 11 Flowering Weeks!
With that, she’s within the breeder’s specifications.
Because the harvest window has been reached. I think she already looks very impressive on Flowering Day 64.
These massive Buds - Magnificent!
A large part of the stigmas are colored, I estimate about 70 - 80%.

Hey - that’s nice.
I’m looking at the app and finding countless favorites from before.
But I also have to say that many beautiful plants have now turned out really great under my tender hands.
But it fascinates me!
I took the pots out of the tent where the 2 ladies were harvested this week, to slowly get things in order so that the Jamaican can dry in the tent in a few days.
And these 2 pots with the already long, long used Living Soil.
The Soil is to be reconditioned. That’s what I started with.
One 20 l pot and 1 x 18 l pot and I don’t know how that happened, I now counted 60 l.
Although I had removed the top 5 cm from both pots for disposal.
True, I freshly mixed 15% worm humus and 15% coco into what was left. And some oatmeal so that the organisms have something to feed on besides just root remnants.
A little bit of water added to introduce the remaining nematodes.

That was the 20 l pot with the Cookies OG. Well, the rest.

The dry top part removed.
And when I then emptied the pot upside down into the tub, this awesome root system appeared.

It looked similar for the Berry / Strawberry.
Only there I missed capturing it visually.
Due to the amount of soil, I will at most get to 6% fertilization. That’s enough for now, as I still have about 20 l of Dope Soil 10% for the lower pot area.
I’ll add the fertilizer at the end of next week and then it can rest for three weeks.
First, the clones will be prepared. I wish you all a good night and a good start to the new week. Greetings from Paule

A wonderful good morning - folks. How is it today?
Wet, it’s raining and it’s still cool on top of that.
Today I think I’ll already add the fertilizer to the soil.
In the living room, on a tarp, I’ll pour the tub onto it to mix everything thoroughly again.

Hey there!
Yours looks incredibly awesome again too.

Oh yes - my two were doing well, especially so many healthy roots at the end.
I think this time there was already a perfect balance of wet and dry.
I really have to say, I haven’t had such extensive root development before.

15 million nematodes have been ordered again.
Predatory mites will only come when the pots are filled.

The Jamaican probably received its last 2 liters of water today.
The clones will receive fresh compost tea this week, and this time brewed from a ready-made bag.
With a few extra ingredients.
Immediately spread out the tarp to mix the soil again.
Then the fertilizer is added.
I still rolled a few joints and disconnected the humidifier in the large tent.
It now has vinegar in it and will be cleaned for the next run.
Now I have 37% RH in the tent.
Wonderful for the end.
Continued success and fun with growing. Cheers!
