Well, I’ve spent a long time learning about seeds, their production, and everything around it. There are Sativa plants that grow up to 6 meters tall, and their seeds are tiny. Pure landraces and their seeds are also excellent; the only thing the size of the seeds tells you is how long it takes for them to germinate. The larger they are, the longer it takes. The statement that those seeds were defective is also garbage. Defective seeds don’t hermie; they don’t germinate at all. Defective means broken. Who knows what went wrong during cultivation. Everything always has to be as quick and cheap as possible. Maybe harvested too early or overly stressed beforehand, and that over time. Eventually, the quality goes down.

I just ordered 28 rock wool plugs 4 x 4 cm.
With the heating rod, I can keep the water at a stable 25 degrees.
Well, currently it’s getting warm even without it.
I’ll let the next beans sprout in the wool, which will soak in pH 6 overnight beforehand.
With a light fertilization with the VBX, I can run the tank stably for 8 days.
I’m also still waiting until this heat no longer comes.
Tomorrow the drying of the mini Amnesia Skittlez ends.
But I have to say. At 20 degrees and 61% RH, it smells as if the whole closet is full.

I still think the heat is playing a big role here. 35 / 38°C at the canopy is a lot for an indoor plant, even if it’s otherwise healthy. The fact that raising the light improved some of the symptoms also points in that direction.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if the high temperatures are making the nutrient issues look worse than they actually are. Warm roots have a harder time taking up water and nutrients efficiently, so one problem can easily make another one more noticeable.
Personally, I wouldn’t change too many things at once. You’ve already raised the light, reduced the intensity, simplified the feeding and you’re following Herr_Gruen’s and Pflanzenpaul’s advice. I’d give the plants a few days and watch the new growth before making more adjustments.
I’m wondering if the substrate is getting as hot as the canopy…

I’d like to know what you use for fungi and bacteria also. Your medium looks very active. I add microbes, fungi, and bacteria to my coco weekly along with my nutrients. It doesn’t seem to be as active as yours. I don’t cover my coco or have a cover crop, maybe it’s something I should consider. We’re all looking for that little extra.

So, to elaborate.
I bought a 90l barrel for concrete work, and that’s where the mixed soil is stored in the cellar, covered with a cloth, so that nothing gets into it but it’s breathable.
In the barrel, there were previously about 20-30l of my previously used and repeatedly regenerated soil. With expanded clay and perlite, some hemp shreds that I use as mulch.
Approx. 10l of compost from our local waste management company.
To that, I added 50l of organically pre-fertilized soil, Floragard Organic Grow, which already contains horn meal and rock phosphate.
In addition, without precise quantity calculation, so rather shaken out by hand, a few organic bio fertilizer pellets were added.
Primarily chicken manure with vermicompost and mycorrhiza. Roughly covering the surface with it.
Then organic-mineral bio tomato fertilizer, also in pellet form.
It contains meat and bone meal, feather meal, blood meal, bone meal, grapeseed meal, vinasse, algae, rock dust (zeolite), kieserite.
In addition, a generous measuring cup of pure mycorrhiza.
Oat flakes and rice for silicate and food for the fungus.
Uhm. If I’ve forgotten anything, I’ll add it.
All of this was mixed through with gloves and then covered.
The picture was taken a few days later.
I will add a bit more perlite once I fill the pots.

So there’s Torti / Wedding Cake, Day 86 today.
Yep, and as you can easily tell, the heat didn’t pass her by without leaving its mark.
Because lamp stress can be ruled out here, as she’s been on the balcony for about 4 - 5 weeks already. She shows slight tendencies towards Foxtailing.
Two heatwaves with peak values of 30 to 40 degrees are exactly the trigger that explains this phenomenon. At such extreme temperatures, the plant switches into a kind of survival mode. The heat stress then causes the flower structure to break open and sprout these typical, fresh “foxtails” (Foxtails) with the new white hairs to regulate evaporation and protect itself.
Since the heatwave is now over and temperatures will be more pleasant for the next few days, the plant now has the perfect opportunity to fully invest its existing energy into resin production again, without being further grilled.
So I’ll give her a little more water and let her do her work for a few more days.

Hey there.
It had a magnesium deficiency initially, then it got really awesome and fat with huge fan leaves.
A nasty stretch and it became the tallest. But then in flowering week 3, there were bananas everywhere on the female calyxes.
No light leaks.

So, I currently have 3 different ones from RQS in the tent, and apart from a few foxtails that the heatwaves caused, they ran through without any issues. The 4th one I partially treated, but the rest of it was also clean. They germinated promptly too, so far I can’t complain.
Sunday, it’s harvest time here, and then they will be happily hung up.

Topped and lollipopped, it shouldn’t really be due to stress; I’d rather guess it’s heat.
I harvested mine at the beginning of May, there wasn’t much heat yet.
Or you were just unlucky and got a really bad batch.
It would be interesting anyway if Zamnesia, which is primarily a big seed shop, really produces its own [products].
Or if they just buy them in and stick their logo on them.

That’s an interesting approach with buying in. But ultimately, their name is on the logo, and so the negative point goes on their account. I read a few days ago about someone who had 8 seeds from them, and only one germinated.

I only had something like that with RQS when cultivation was permitted.
RQS experimented with feminization using hyaluronic acid (could have been something else, it’s already 3 years ago). That and a lack of quality control (they needed every seed because the cannabis release came quite suddenly) led to many hermaphrodites.

That sucks, I haven’t had any hermaphrodites so far 
hope it stays that way. But I think that was just the initial phase of legalization. At least I haven’t heard anything negative about them lately. For years I bought my seeds from Seeds 66.

I think I will take them.
I had informed them about the germination temperature and RH.
The first one didn’t sprout, the second one became a hermaphrodite.
They apologized and offered me a replacement or a voucher.
I haven’t responded yet.
It wasn’t a good first experience. And I still have 2 other strains from them, 3 beans each.
But I won’t just let that slide. I’ll take them up on the offer.
Meanwhile, it’s still standing with 2 others.
For days I removed the things until I couldn’t be bothered anymore, and it’s in the Scrog. All the way in the back of the 120x120. You can’t really get to it.
Taken yesterday. 5th week of flowering and she still has 2 - 3 weeks left.
Then the Mexican next to the horror creature.
And then the Sour Diesel in the 25 L bag, 3 - 4 L a day.
Meanwhile, she’s only consuming 2 L a day.
I still hope that if pollinated,
only a part of it was affected in each case.
I’ve already ordered 6 x 15 L fabric pots from RQS, because the same 25 L ones are awesome. You can water without the runoff coming out the sides. If too much, you only get drain from the bottom.
Next run, directly 6, short growth phase and quickly into flower.
Now first I’ll see what consequences the herming has.
