Woohoo, it’s harvested, and with that, a very good evening.
To then put the Sour Diesel into drying after harvest, de-branching, and wet trim,
the Mexican on Day 4 Cure Mode in the Cannatrol had to make way.
The nice buds went into a Grove Bag and dry there were about 89 g left, plus about 13 g trim.
The smaller popcorn buds, about 5 g, went into a jar, cleared for smoke destruction.
The trim is deep-frozen alongside the trim from the K. Asia.
Each in its own bag. The Asia yielded 102 g and about 16 g trim.
Both were watered via Auto Pot.
That clashes a bit with the Living Soil. It’s too wet for her at the bottom in there…
But the Sour Diesel with classic hand watering saved the grow.
5 shelves in the Cannatrol.
The rest parked in the tent for now.
Because the Mexican was already filling the whole house with fragrance during the wet trim and hanging open in the room.
But the scent this lady put off was insane.
My eyes are still burning 
I’ll keep it short.
Drying has been running since 5 PM and the temperature adjusted quickly. The RH started at 67%. 20 min. later it was 66% and will settle around 63% for now.
And as I mentioned before!
There’s nothing better than well-timed hand watering.
565 g wet plus 60 g trim lying in the Cannatrol, over 620 g of material.
Almost as much as K Asia and Mexican in the Auto Pot combined. 
I’m really curious about the smoke.
The top 2 shelves are from the upper section.
Below that, the lower section with milky trichomes. Top with 15 - 20% and maybe more in some clusters for the sleep variant. 
Since I ran the lights at 68% - 75%, I came out to 1.2 g per watt.
I can be happy with that.
Oh, I also have a bit of scissor hash left, currently in the freezer.
Once it gets on your fingers, everything sticks.
It needs to be cold!

Finally the heat is over, but now it’s wet outside. A few drops of rain yesterday, and now rain is forecast for the whole week.
And so Environment 1 wasn’t off for long!
So yesterday morning when the rain started, I brought the Auto A. Skittlez inside, and then with the forecast of all that rain, she went into Environment 1 along with the Wedding Cake.
Well, and now with the wet days, the RH spiked badly both outside and inside.
And then you really notice that the dehumidifier, besides raising the heat even more, can’t really keep up with the RH.
So today I added 50 ml of Purolyt to the remaining 2 - 3 liters in the humidifier so that when it gets drier and kicks in, there’s something in the water mist that eliminates fungal spores.
That way, the RH can be a bit higher during late flower!
Today was watering day. Skitti got 1.5 L of water, pH adjusted to 6.5, and sent 200 ml of runoff out the bottom. She’s only getting water for her last few days.
Well - for being in a 9-liter pot, in simple potting soil fertilized with Bio Bizz.
I really would have been curious to see how big and fat she would have gotten in a 20 L pot. In any case, this run of her strain yields more than the first one in expensive Living Soil, a pre-mixed blend called Dope Lite.
Soon I’ll need to take a closer, highly magnified look at the trichomes to reach a good level of ripeness here as well. She’s frosty already and actually survived the heatwave pretty well.
When they were brought into the tent yesterday, they started at a light distance under 40 cm and today they’re at 35 cm distance. The dimmers were around 55% at the start, then I raised them a bit yesterday afternoon and again this morning so that they’re now being lit at 70%. That’s about 371 Watts out of 530.
I think that should be enough too. It’s really just for finishing up in the dry.
With several days of nothing but rain, everything would rot away anyway.
Man guys, I wanted to use the new printer yesterday and the piece of junk went on strike. Technology…
Everything was fine during installation on Day 1.
It was probably the old driver from the previous model conflict with the new driver of the new model that caused the blockage.
And then me! Apart from writing a bit here and a few pictures. Downloading movies and using the PC as a video player. Yeah, simple stuff. I can manage that.
But anything deeper than that was horror, but I got deep into it and kicked the old driver out. Deleted the printer and reinstalled it along with the new driver, and then eventually…
Now the thing is working smoothly ---- Woohoo!
Moving on now — to Auto Wedding Cake Day 62 today. She’s a few days younger!
Here too, minus 5 days until she broke through the soil, she’s more at 57 days today and listed at 10 - 11 weeks from germination to harvest.
So she still has 2 - 3 weeks plus or minus a few days anyway, which is why she’s still getting nutrients. Bio Bizz today was according to the schedule after Bloom Week 6, and in three days, it’ll be schedule for Week 7.
Only Acti Vera and Bio Heaven are empty, so the rest of the line will have to do. Because I’m not buying replacements for those.
Starting next week, she’ll also only get pH-adjusted water to clean out the soil and get some autumn fade.
Just makes the flavor better!
She’s a sturdy lady though, at 80 cm tall, almost 9 cm taller than the other one.
She turned out pretty decent too, considering she’s in a 9 L pot.
The Sour Diesel will soon start Day 3 in Dry Mode in about 2 hours, and the Cannatrol had quite a workout trying to get the RH down. Dry Mode started at 67%, but that’s completely normal. Yesterday, though, it fluctuated for a long time between 65% and 64%. Meanwhile, it’s at 63% and the temperature is constant at 19.6 degrees.
It’s going smoothly!
And then there’s K. Asia.
Day 38, with 20 days of vegetative growth, today she got 2.3 L of water.
In the morning it was only 1.3 L of water, and the sensor had dropped to 41% soil moisture beforehand. Afterwards, it settled at 51%, which was still a bit too low for me. So three hours later, she got 1 L of water with 10 ml molasses/LAB ferment and 5 ml stinging nettle ferment, plus a bit of Super Microbes Root X afterwards. Now the sensor has settled at 67% soil moisture.
Right now it’s watering every 4 days or so. Next time won’t be until the sensor is around 40% again.
Brought the light back to a 58 cm distance today and turned the dimmer up a bit to 55%.
I’ve already defoliated her twice by removing her top 2 fan leaves to bring more light to the lower shoots.
And what does she do??? There are 2 fat fan leaves on top again. Now I’m having a hard time removing them again.
After all, they’re the fan leaves and the powerhouse. Let the lower shoots find their own way.
She was 19 cm tall today. After topping a few days ago, today I saw 2 shoots continuing to grow at the top and another 2 shoots directly beneath them. They’re almost at the same level, so now 4 shoots are practically at the same height.
Somehow she gives me the feeling like she’s not really picking up speed.
But I think it’s more my own impatience again.
Things can never happen fast enough for me.
At her highest point, she’s currently still 15 cm under the net. Soon she’ll be defoliated a bit again, and then the lower shoots will be long enough to tie down and out to widen things up a bit.
Curious to see if she’ll stretch as much “later on” and whether she’ll hermie too.
I won’t lollipop her as heavily as the first one.
Man - but during the last smoke, after having 4 dry and 4 cure days and another eight days already in the Grove Bag…
…she didn’t really taste like weed. It was a really awesome hash flavor.

She is on day 4 of flowering today. Not a giant yet. I thought I’d try to keep her under the net until the end of the week & then let her shoot up. By then, hopefully, I’ll have maxed out the last bit of volume. What do you think?

Everything is going great with my two ladies as well, thanks to my “support net frame” I can even direct the 2 a bit.
Fortunately, the temperatures have normalized again, my peak is back to about 29 degrees.
It will probably take a while until the walls of the house have released the heat again.

I’ll experiment a bit with the night temperature in the tent during the last 3 weeks.
Let’s see if I can get some “color” into the two of them, I just have to be careful not to drop below 15 degrees.
With the current temperatures, that should be doable. Excited to see the result, it just looks great when they turn purple
For colors, it is important during flowering to run lower temperatures at night than during the day.
For super growth in that exact phase, almost the opposite is advantageous.
At night it should be at least as warm as during the day.
Just be careful with organic growing where fungi and microorganisms feed the plant.
It shouldn’t go below 18 degrees at night, because anything below that would bring soil life to a standstill. And that would be fatal because the plant in its big hunger won’t get enough anymore.
But for me it has always worked well with night temperatures of 19 - 20 degrees to let the colors run free.
You have an awesome net there and the plants look slick too.
In the meantime, I’m already heavily planning and this time my eye falls right into the water .
Next run will also be organic again in super soil with Bio Tabs and everything from the range is ready to go, PK and compost tea as well as whatever else there is.
Only thing was, I was spoiled for choice.
Do I enrich the soil with dolomite lime or do I add magnesium sulfate to every watering. I think it’s heading towards the latter because the dolomite lime would only marginally bring the 3 to 1 calcium to magnesium ratio a little closer.
It also only increases the calcium value further and over time the pH could break out of the good range.
I’ve been doing some research online over the last few days and measured my tap water again all around.
Actually, what comes out of the tap is already very usable.
Not too soft - but not too hard either.
But what the results showed also matches the appearance of the plants, that there was always a magnesium deficiency in play.
The stuff delivers around 90 mg of calcium. But magnesium is only around 14 mg, so I have a ratio of almost 7 to 1 calcium to magnesium. But it’s supposed to be 3 to 1.
If I now add 0.12 - 0.15 g of magnesium sulfate per liter of water.
Then I get exactly to this 3 to 1 calcium to magnesium ratio.
That - is now the plan from the start.
So I’m excited to see how it goes!
Tomorrow I’ll check on the K. Asia. She needs water again.
At the moment she manages well with 2.3 L of water every 4 days. That keeps the soil moisture sensor in a range of 40% - 65%. After watering it spikes higher, but once it settles, it runs down from those 65%.
I had already removed 2 fan leaves at a time twice at intervals to bring more light to the lower shoots. Topped once.
Now she has large fan leaves at the top again and shades everything at the bottom.
I won’t remove any more though, because it always slows her growth down enormously.
It also costs her enormous strength to painstakingly build new fan leaves again. That’s her power plant and nutrient reservoir after all.
So the leaves stay now and tomorrow I will somehow put them under the lower shoots, or get the lower shoots past the fans.
Should be at the point now where the lower shoots are long enough to bring them out a bit with some tie-downs.
Then new pictures of her will follow. There wasn’t much else to do anyway. With water every 4 days, I disturb the climate as little as possible and sometimes don’t even check in for 2 days.

Awesome right - finally the heat is gone. And the Rhine is slowly getting a slightly higher water level again.
Today I increased the dimmer on the lamps a bit more to 75% for the 2 autos because the temperatures allow it now. I’m still under 27 degrees with that and it’s wonderful that it’s getting significantly cooler at night now too.
I now have more details about my tap water as well, and just wrote something about that.
The Sour Diesel is about to enter day 2 of Cure Mode. I adjusted the dew point down a bit to 11.8 degrees, so its microclimate is at 19.5 degrees and 61% RH.
Yesterday I quickly put a few jars with buds in there so they could cure along with it. Keeps the buds fresh and it wasn’t overfilled anyway.
The Amnesia Skittlez still needs a few days. I’m expecting another 10 days, and the Wedding Cake is almost 10 days younger anyway, so that one still needs a good 20 days.
After that, though, the larger tent will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before starting up again. This time I want to germinate in the X-Stream where the seeds are set in rockwool. I had to read up on it quite a bit because the rockwool here also has to have its pH adjusted first. The pH should then be in the range of 5.5 - 5.8.
After a few days, when a little green is already showing on top, a very gentle dose of fertilizer needs to go into the tub with the water.
I still have one BubbleGum seed left out of three where 2 didn’t germinate.
Maybe the soil was too wet after all, so I want to see if this one will sprout that way.

They have all sorts of useful things. I got the bungee cords and the stainless steel pipes myself and cut them to size.
I haven’t had any experience with purely organic growing yet, since I use Air-Pots I’d be watering myself silly if I grew on Living Soil, for example.
I’m looking to switch to organic fertilizer where I can, let me see how they complement each other.
What works really well for me is fertilizer-free soil, my feeding schedule, and RO water (very practical when you’ve been too generous with fertilizer 
, just flush completely without any additives and the EC value gets back into the safe zone very quickly).

Mixing fertilizers from different brands can be risky, be careful not to get too much of any one component. Each manufacturer has different dosages for the individual components.

Well, if you use mineral fertilizers, you can run lower temperatures at night too.
I took a look at the site. I’m definitely getting the CO2 and light sensor holder and 2 temp and RH sensor holders. Neat.

Wanted to drive over and pick it up.

Yeah, true, that’s why I exclusively use Advanced Nutrients fertilizer and the matching feeding schedule.
During my first grow I mixed wildly, endless chaos, plus it was an automatic.
Despite the nutrient lockout, something still came of it.
