@Pflanzenpaul

I didn’t take it badly at all.
Was just confused…
I like the balanced effect the most.
Since I unfortunately also have the tolerance of a bull, I don’t really feel the effect as much anymore.
Having half a gram of GMO or GG4 for breakfast at 5 am and then pushing through 8 hours of work is completely normal for me. :face_with_peeking_eye::grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

It’s time for the girls to get new shoes

Me again…
Granita by Perfect Tree was a great project. First time with a single plant, two Scrog nets, and a result like this. Wouldn’t have thought she’d get so massive. The smell is brutal, the buds are so dense/firm that they can hardly be squeezed together.
I am more than satisfied. Today was the second to last, maybe even the last watering with pH-regulated water. Here are a few more impressions.

Alright, no sooner said than done.

The girls got their boots. In the front left is my own creation, Candy Dynastie, behind her Royal Runtz. On the front right side is Permanent Marker and behind it Kush Mint. Red and white clover, yarrow, chamomile, and for the Kush Mint, mint were sown today as ground cover. The soil was mixed three weeks ago with mycorrhizae, Trichoderma, and Rhizobacter, moistened, and covered. The whole thing was watered again and mixed through. At the moment they’re getting 340 PPFD, I’ll check tomorrow to see how they like it and adjust if necessary.

In the small lab, as some of you here already know from me, we have “three plants in one pot” again. My new breeding program,

In front is Fat Bastard (will be treated with colloidal silver water to pollinate itself as well as the other two), in the back right is Bubble Gum Sherb and in the back left Kush Mint. The soil and ground cover are the same as in the larger tent.

From now on it gets exciting again :face_with_peeking_eye::scream::face_with_symbols_on_mouth::face_vomiting::face_with_spiral_eyes:, we will find out soon enough which emoji is the fitting one.

All good @Andy_420
It was also just meant by me as if I was only looking at pistils.
Now, the truth is that when the receptors are completely maxed out, you don’t really perceive the nice effects anymore.
And believe me!
I know what it’s like when almost nothing rings the bell anymore, hehehehe.
I was younger once and a bit hard on the road, and you don’t want to know everything I’ve been through.
My mix back in the day was a cigarette, the tobacco from it, plus 1 g of hash, weed, whatever I felt like. Nicely chopped up, and that was 4 bowls on my bong.
4 - 6 bowls were already done in the morning on the way to work.
50 - 60 g a week was my requirement, and not the cheap stuff from Holland.
I had the somewhat stronger strains like Temple Afghan, Temple Nepal, Mississippi Pollen, etc.
Could afford it because I always got kilos and diligently distributed them.
I was quite a character, but not a bad guy! :joy:
Then I was gone for a long time and didn’t smoke any weed for 10 years.
Then in 2023 I started growing and have been smoking again ever since. But I haven’t built up such a tolerance again.
However, to be able to judge something, I still need the first one in the morning.
Because that’s the one I notice the best.
What you smoke for breakfast is enough for me for the whole day now.
It’s not easy to take a break then, so that a bit more gets through again.
I put the last 2 seedlings into their final pots today. The Permanent Marker and Jamaican Pearl.
The Sherbet Queen in Living Soil for 5 days now; the soil stood and rested for a very long time, the soil life still seems very active. Because she has put on a lot of growth. The only thing showing is a few spots indicating the start of a magnesium deficiency.
That’s due to the tap water, so I put some dolomite lime on top today and watered it in.

The Jamaican Pearl went into the other pot with Living Soil today.

When digging out the planting hole and pressing the soil from deeper down in my fist, the sensor showed 52% moisture, and the soil itself was slightly moist but almost too thin; that maintained the soil life, but with a plant it needs to be a bit moister.
So here in the Living Soil, my peak for watering is at 50%, and while they are still smaller, 2 L of water per 20 L of soil is enough. That way nothing is too wet.
To simply push the soil life further, I used Bio Tabs, since I had it around anyway. 1 g Bactrex, 4 ml Orgatrex, and 1 teaspoon SF nematodes preventatively against fungus gnat larvae.
Bactrex provides bacteria and Orgatrex feeds them.
Now it’s just going to continue with water for a while.
The Strawberry was the first in her final pot in Bio Tabs soil. She’s been in there since Saturday, and today is Vegetation Day 5, and today she also got her 2 L of water with 1 g Bactrex and 8 ml Orgatrex, plus nematodes as well. That means the pot is now completely activated, and now it should only be watered with water.

I had to wait to water because the soil was still too moist when planting her.
She’s developing pretty well in the soil. But the Mexican Sativa is also unfolding wonderfully in the soil mix.

The side shoots are already coming along from below. But I still have to wait with her and the Permanent Marker until Bactrex, Orgatrex, and nematodes can go in.
I’m throwing nematodes into the soil very regularly at the moment, because they also have a limited shelf life.
The pots are still saturated with moisture.
The Mexican has been in Bio Tabs soil since Sunday, and today is Vegetation Day 4.
The light dimmers are now at 40%, and tomorrow/the day after tomorrow the lights will be brought a bit closer. That way I step-by-step increase the light intensity.
So now the Permanent Marker is also in her final 18 L Bio Tabs pot.
For her and the Jamaican, the vegetation phase starts tomorrow.

Had to swap some saucers to get all 5 pots into my harem.

I’m curious about the Jamaican’s living soil. It already went through one run, and if it falters, I’ll pop two Bio Tabs in :joy: .
Then let’s see how things go. So far they look pretty good, and they’ve gotten sturdier.
Even worms are still moving around here and there in the soil. I’ll still add a few more over the next few days that I take out of the worm bin.
Awesome, they got food today: fruit, salad, minerals, and coffee grounds. Plus lots of paper again. The last load was nowhere to be seen. New worm castings everywhere and infinitely many new young worms. It’s going great!
Now things can grow in peace, and I think this time I’ll just let them grow without topping. Because the lighting penetrates so well that the side shoots are keeping up nicely on their own.
Now they need some rest again! And so do I!
Best regards.

That’s great, I read that you’ve germinated several seeds of different varieties? I don’t know if I misread, I’ve been doing the same lately but with white clover and violets, I have red clover but I don’t know where I left it.
Are you going to keep track of the Permanent Marker from GFS? I put the seed in soil yesterday from the ones they gave me, if you make a Growlog I’ll follow it to see in advance what awaits me.
I really like your gnomes as always xD I’d like to get figurines, they give it a unique touch.
Good luck with your strains, I hope they are everything you expect and more.

Congratulations, I see that everything you got are huge colas, the branches as well, what fertilizers did you use? Organic? Mineral? Mixed? I have a Picchu from Perfect Tree reaching the end of flowering, to be honest I still don’t know if I like it, I loved and fell in love with its growth vigor, but the colas have a lot of leaves and are full of trichomes, and they are so tucked in between the calyxes that I don’t know how I’ll be able to remove them… it’s going to be difficult to trim, I see your leaves also got full of trichomes, mind you, when running my hand over the flowers, it smells “really” soft, it doesn’t smell like marijuana, to me it smells like pastries, I’m asking you to learn more about the seedbank.

The thing with the Growlog is a bit of a hassle right now , I’ve already started it, but I still have two out of three weeks to catch up on. With 7 of them, it really turns into work; maybe I’ll find the time to catch up on Sunday when I go fishing :fishing_pole:. I took notes, it would have made more sense to write them directly into a Growlog instead of on paper.

This time I’m testing the effect of different companion plants again and how olfactory signals affect the girls. For the Kush Mint, I put mint seeds that I collected into the pot. In addition, chamomile and yarrow seeds that I collected a few months ago were added to each pot, which I had kept in the fridge since then to simulate winter so they would germinate. I had already tested them in a small pot the other day and they germinated right away. I read that both are supposed to increase terpene production and bring out a fantastic aroma. I collected the red and white clover seeds in the garden, that stuff grows wildly everywhere here. Next year I will also establish mint, chamomile, and yarrow in the garden to have permanent access to my ground cover seeds. Free is always better than buying in my opinion, especially since they take care of themselves and require no maintenance.

Yes, I remember you put mint last grow when we tested elicitors, I still have the female Afghan flowering that has the inoculum, but I don’t know if I see anything “different” I guess I’ll know at harvest in a week or so.
It would have made more sense to write them directly in a Growlog instead of on paper. Lol
Well, I’ll keep an eye on what you post about the Permanent because you’ll be about 2 weeks ahead of me, I’m out of “cool” seeds, I must have 4 strains left, I hope I win something in this month’s giveaway… the Sensi Seeds catalog… is brutal, I’ll pray.
I’ll just make a very thick blanket of white clover, and 1 or 2 viola tricolor plants, white clover comes in thousands of seeds

@3xt3nd3d You can’t get rid of clover, it’ll outlive you:rofl:. I tried in the garden and eventually gave up.

I will definitely share updates here

@herr_gruen xD so far they’re keeping me happy, not a single deficiency watering with a pH of 8 xD I can’t think of anything else, I like this thing about having little plants on the little plants hahaha
and on the other hand, my microscope just arrived and I overshot the window a bit xD

by the way, I found a website (in the end it was never clear to me if we can share links) that sells bulk seeds (minimum 3 seeds) for 0.75 euros, yes, feminized for 0.75 euros, plus it has a catalog of 54 varieties and they ship to Europe, what I don’t know is if it’s profitable like that.
ZONE 1 (16.5€ base up to 2kg): France, Germany, and Monaco, although they have an offer that if you spend 50€ shipping is free (I don’t know if it applies to all of Europe)

Great shot, looks like you could harvest :+1:t2:. 0.75 cents per seed is quite a deal, with a €50 minimum order for free shipping you can quickly plant a new forest

Morning Canna Fam

I’m on day 23 of flowering

I’ve already defoliated the ladies a bit. But not all of them yet :face_with_peeking_eye:, and I currently lack the time for a cool photo doc. My light schedule from 8 PM to 8 AM leaves me little wiggle room to work with . I decided on this schedule because it gets very cold and humid at night in the room where the tent is, and during the day I feed the room with dry apartment air. That way I keep the environmental parameters under optimal control :ok_hand:t3:

Happy Growing everyone

@3xt3nd3d

I actually don’t use that much and fertilize minerally.

I start with a 250ml pot for seedlings for the first 7-10 days in Plagron Lightmix.
During this time I don’t adjust anything. No pH value, no Calmag. Just pure tap water.
Since the soil is lightly pre-fertilized minerally for a week, that’s completely sufficient for starting seedlings.

From 250ml it goes into a 4-6 liter plastic pot with Plagron Growmix and Dynomyco Mycorrhiza fungi. That’s all. From this point on I regulate my water to a 6.5-6.7 pH value and use a minimal dose of Calmag since the LED lights pull an incredible amount of magnesium from the plant.
Usually a Calmag ratio of 2.5:1.

At this stage, I also top and train with soil pins.
As soon as the pot is fully rooted, it goes into the 20-liter fabric pot. Again with mycorrhiza.

Since the Growmix soil is always pre-fertilized for three to four weeks, I don’t really need any vegetative fertilizer. In the 20-liter pot, it stays for about 4 weeks and is then switched to bloom.

I use:

-Canna Mono Calcium
-Canna Mono Magnesium
-Plagron Pure Zym, Power Roots (for veg)
-Plagron Terra Bloom, Power Buds and Green Sensation (for bloom)

In case of nitrogen deficiency, I like to use a dash of Plagron Sugar Royal 9-0-0. Otherwise, it gets nitrogen from the soil and I don’t add it intentionally.

I am very precise with calcium and magnesium. If there’s too much of it in the medium, it blocks the other nutrients and causes a lockout.
I looked up the approximate data online from my water supplier.

Here I have per liter of water:
22mg calcium and 11mg magnesium
With the mono-fertilizers I increase it very specifically to 60mg/25mg per liter of water.
You just have to calculate it. But it’s worth it.

If I’ve learned anything after 3 years and countless experiments…

with cannabis, less is more

:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:Good luck.

I’m still stuck on a tough decision for my next project.
Old school or new school?

Oops, the amber is very pronounced.
Is that on a sugar leaf or already directly on the buds like that?
Mine was like that with the Sour Diesel too.
But I can’t say anything about it yet because it’s still resting cool and dark.
Good morning

I’ve also commented on that before.
Those are the seeds that various retailers buy in bulk, and in their little bags with company logos, they are then 10 times more expensive.
You can also buy directly from them, and then instead of 5 seeds, you get 100 or 1000 of one strain.
Personally, I prefer having different strains though!
Greetings and a short report on my run.
All of them are standing happily under the sun.
So today I slightly lowered the RH further to now 67% - 68%.
Tomorrow I’ll bring the lights closer to a 65 cm distance from the current 70 cm.

Man, what a nasty day today. Wind, wet, and cold .
I can’t even get warm inside my place.
And the weather makes me super tired.
Since too much all-around care isn’t the best thing for the little plants anyway, as you can easily kill them with over-care.
I’m staying away today!
So I won’t get lost in my thoughts, but keep numbing my brain instead. :joy:
Physical well-being is already taken care of.
So it’s documentary time and bundling up warm in bed.
Wishing everyone a nice quiet weekend and happy growing.
Greetings from Pflanzenpaule
