Show off your Ladies

Dito…that’s standard🙃 but now, to get something (and later around it) rolling for the start of the week, there’s some work to do. Placed 4 new seeds in the water bath: super silver Haze, Arjan’s Ultra Haze, super skunk, and Tropicana Cookies….

But first, I need to make the Marley room chill again :face_with_peeking_eye: Pure chaos.

@Growstarter40
Yeah cool :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
Bonsai Bud, I’ll do something like that sometime too. I have enough pots here.

Here’s what’s happening with me.

Day 74 of flowering for Purple Zkittlez 2..
I’ve had enough of her now :joy:

She came out today

Och @KilliczGe, that sounds really great with the C. Milk. 22 - 24%, wonderful, I think that’s the spectrum my little brain can still handle. Ha ha ha.
The neighbor was once again in a deep sleep during the day and only reported in the early evening. Now the work has been postponed until tomorrow.

Since the Bubble Gums hadn’t had water for several days, they probably had considerable drought stress. The soil was so dry that there was already drain with the first 200 ml in the 18 L pot. He hehe. Awesome, and I hope they’ll now really push out resin from their glands, otherwise they’ll pay. I had to give them nutrients again, and that was the longest watering session. 1.7 L per pot and always exactly 200 ml every 10 minutes. In the end, everything stayed in.

I really wanted to give the clones a really good and awesome start. Since it was visible yesterday that at least 2 of the 3 have roots, or are getting them, I freshly mixed 4 L of Super Soil with Flo solid fertilizer today.

2.35 L Light Mix / 60 %

400 ml Worm Humus / 10 %

1.17 L Coco / 30 % I then thoroughly mixed the total amount of 3920 ml.

Then 80 ml of solid fertilizer, a delicate 2% of the soil volume mix. To avoid burning the young roots directly.
Mixed again and then watered with 500 ml of water. Here too, just over 10% water of the soil volume. The water directly contained 3 million SF nematodes to eliminate any fungus gnat larvae. 30 minutes after moistening the soil, I mixed it again and put the 4 L of soil into an empty soil bag.
Now it rests warmly and can develop. 2 x 2 liters for growing should then be ready in 10 days, and I will then activate the Dope Soil when the two best rooted ones are in the small pots. This way, they can get used to this soil at the beginning until it goes into a stronger mix.
Oho, for a while it stank here like a chicken coop; actually, there was a bit of everything: cowshed, pigsty, and so on. Gizmo would have loved to jump into the bucket. Now, I’ll keep an eye on how the temperature rises in the next few days. With fresh Living Soil, it’s sure to be another mega run. Tomorrow is watering day in the grow tent.

But now it’s chill time. A few more pulls for me and then I’m off to dreamland.
Stay High and have fun growing. Pflanzenpaule

Yes, the Cereal Milk also made me scratch my head at first, but after the first small harvest I immediately reordered 5 more seeds

Regarding the wine cooler

Yesterday I pondered a bit more, and the solution is a small gap that I keep open at the door.

Boveda 58% is inside.
So far, I find the values great.

Good morning @all

My dear friend @KilliczGe !!

You need something like this for your wine cabinet…

The bottom chamber is 35cm high.
I don’t think I need something like that

And it doesn’t cool. I put it in the room with the right temperature :victory_hand:t3:

All the best :face_blowing_a_kiss::victory_hand:t3:

Right now 18.9 degrees 62% humidity.

With the fresh trimmings from yesterday.

Waiting to see

Just took down the purple zkittlez 1 after 12 days of drying, finally in the net, trimmed and weighed.

40g and a few beautifully fragrant buds are the result of meticulous trimming art.

I just saw that you’re curing in pickle jars, I hope that doesn’t give it an aftertaste. I prefer honey jars with swing-top lids or old jam jars.

Haha
No, everything’s fine. They’ve been in the dishwasher multiple times and are already in use for the second time. I pay very close attention to that

I aired mine yesterday where I’m currently curing the harvest and thought a skunk had died in there. Specifically, one that had fed exclusively on lemons.

Fortunately, I can’t imagine that :rofl::face_blowing_a_kiss:

Just finished the little round in the basement here.

The penultimate pair of pictures are the Permanent Marker. Just like mom  already thick nugs.
At the end, the Dante’s Inferno also already has a nice purple tint. That’s probably the cold spot in the corner  could be cleverly used.

And mama Big Bud… she doesn’t want to leave :rofl: let’s see how much longer she goes.

Meanwhile, the daughter was tied down so she doesn’t run off in the last meters before the move.

All alone with the heating pipe :face_holding_back_tears:

On that note :herb:

@KilliczGe
80% or 70% drying is a tricky business. A mini dehumidifier that fits in there and is adjustable to only turn on above 63% and turn off at 58% would be best. Of course, it costs extra electricity, and keep in mind that such a device brings waste heat. So, in operation, the temp would rise.
Our Dbe, read that the wine cabinet is no longer cooling. So, somehow counterproductive. Because you don’t want to drive up the temperature on top of everything else.
Now, about leaving the door slightly open with a wedge, and generally, your buds are currently airing out very freely in the apartment. That must smell all the way to the street, right? :joy:
If that doesn’t cause problems with one neighbor or another!
On top of that, in your current situation, these small boxes with silica gel packets would catch excess humidity without electricity. These Boveda can only absorb a limited amount, and for the room volume, you’d have to use countless numbers that would then become oversaturated and no longer work properly.
This silica box costs around 15 euros, and I have this 1 kg version, and they really bring down the humidity. But it remains a manual action. In when humidity is too high, and out when it falls below 58%.
I searched and measured in my stock.

Below the water collection box, where the white begins, this silica gel bag is inside, here the 1 kg version. It draws water from the air and directs it into the bottom. The box is 19 cm high and fits perfectly in your setup.

Yep, and I snagged three 1 kg ones cheaply at Globus Baumarkt.
That would be roughly the best thing I can think of for your cabinet.
Clearly, your wine cooler, which also no longer cools, will not have any water drainage, which is precisely what drives up the humidity so much in your case. The Cannatrol has a drain at the back where I have to manually empty the collection tray daily during operation.
In your case, the water would collect in the silica box, which would then also have to be emptied. You could then keep the door closed and have less odor development. Try it. Meanwhile, I’m reading another story or two here, and then I have to go fix something for the neighbor. He contacted me last night, and we agreed that I’d come over right away. Then, perhaps, I’ll need to give some water to the growing ones, and then the day will be over again. Friends, the winner announcement is here. I gotta take a look
See you later, says Pflanzenpaule, and before I go to that clown, I still have to have a smoke

hehehe, you’re lucky @KilliczGe with the neighbors. Here, there would be two who would do some really shady things if it smelled.
62 % is really good now too. The fact that your drain exists at the back but nothing comes out could be related to the lack of cooling.
With the Cannatrol, especially in the first few days, a few ml come out daily from the back.
I’ll research in due course whether silicate is a terpene eater.
I can’t imagine that because the buds actually don’t have direct contact with the silicate. It only releases water from the air which ends up in the lower box.
I’ve also heard that Boveda falsifies the taste, which I don’t notice myself. Maybe if a Boveda leaks over the buds. But I haven’t experienced that either.
What I am experiencing today, though;
today, for the third time after Saturday, Monday, and then today, one of two packages was out for delivery.
Nothing came again today! Both packages are supposedly in Neuwied, and icy roads are preventing timely delivery.
Neuwied is 25 km from me. Rhineland flatland, the roads are clear, and we have 7 degrees +.
I’ll spare myself any further words on this. They are so incompetent!
Oh, the soil activated yesterday has warmed up by almost 2 degrees. A good sign that everything is activating now. Good evening, I need to do a plant inspection.

But you’re forgetting the chemical law (if I’m not mistaken), redox reactions. Everything has to go somewhere after the reaction with the silicate.

The silicate binds H2O and drips into the tray as silicate-containing water. So far, so clear.
What I think when I read about the terpene eaters is that either some of the silicate escapes into the air during the reaction, OR, more likely, that due to the capillary effect that the silicate bags trigger by absorbing water, they also “shake and suck” too much in the bud or resin, causing more to be lost than desired.

But. Just a layman’s theory

Greetings @KilliczGe and the rest of you here. Well, a layman’s theory. I’m no smarter than you. Maybe the silicate shakes things up too much.
In principle, the Cannatrol also draws moisture out of the buds, and as for the chemical aspect with silicate. No idea.
I’d say, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
But you have good RH values, so you don’t really have to worry.
Dude, your microscope is awesome.
So cool to see the trichomes so big and clear. Great.
Today, on delivery attempt 4, the 2 packages actually arrived.

Yeah, it was a bit like Christmas again. There was a jeweler’s loupe with 2 LEDs included for free, and I used it to look at trichomes on the Auto Bubble Gum, and even with glasses at 40x magnification, I couldn’t make out anything well.
Of course, you can see the trichomes, but you can’t properly assess the ripeness.
But at the beginning of the 10th week, they easily have another 2 weeks left anyway.
What kind of microscope do you have there?

That will be the next fertilizer once the living Soil bags are used up.

And for that, a different brand of Light Mix too.
What really gets me excited is the measuring cup for men :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

It’s so gigantic
Yesterday Day 40, Vegetative Day 22
the Cookies OG had already reached 45 cm in height, and I had already taken a good 20 cm from its top when topping it.
1768413875394

I’m curious to see how it will take off during the flowering stretch.
Well, if necessary, the other 2 out, and spread this one out on the net.
But I’ll let them grow a bit more. The Strawberry is almost 10 cm behind, but has a nice Christmas tree shape.

The shape has something to it.
With the Bubble Gum, the totally different appearance is once again explained to me here.
Reading up on it again today, it’s 15% Sativa and about 75% Indica with some Ruderalis.
Lady 1 simply has the small Indica bush appearance, and in Lady 2, the 15% Sativa expressed itself more.
Yesterday Day 64, Flowering Day approx. 39.
Almost at the end of the 6th flowering week.
Lady 1

Lady 2

So in two or three weeks, they should be ready.
Oh, then this struggle will be over.
Then I wish you a pleasant evening. Greetings from Pflanzenpaule

Again for everyone  :face_blowing_a_kiss:

I use this clip microscope for my iPhone.

Mostly with 1.5 to 2x zoom, then zoomed in again on the phone.
Very close, x5 zoom, you need luck and steady hands. The higher the zoom, the shakier it gets

So, not for me, since I get the shakes when I try to hold still. That’s why I got a microphone stand with a phone holder.

It happens only on the surface of the silicate. Whereby only water from the air is
