Show off your Ladies

My dear @herr_gruen, those will be very long shoots, I think.
After the slight stress that reshaping brings, I would soon put the ladies into bigger shoes so that the roots can continue to spread out nicely.
It already protrudes significantly beyond the pot volume!

And what’s up on my end, regarding the 2 Cookies OG clones that are still there?
First, for three days now, toothache has been bothering me, lower left, the bridge of ceramic crowns.
The health insurance company’s payment approval is available. Awesome!
In not quite three years, the total costs of treatments, just for replacement, now amount to 12,000 Euros. The idiots, but they want it that way and then they’ll get it that way.
Right away, properly – from a cost perspective, these could have been implants. And that’s just what the health insurance company is covering for the 2nd time, without what I already had to contribute myself.
Only this time I’m not contributing anything more.
I actually have up to 6 months to claim it and originally wanted to postpone it a bit longer. But circumstances are now forcing me to go back to the dentist.

And the pain also lets my brain drift off a bit. So, back to the clones.
Yesterday, after three days, there was a proper watering, from the top into the soil. 2.5 L of water per pot.
And again, the Living Soil, in combination with too intense lighting, is causing issues here.
Now, in the Bud Swelling phase, the microbes can no longer keep up with supplying sufficient amounts of Calcium / Magnesium and co. for it.
Thus, with 100% light dimmer and a distance of 35 cm, the uppermost foliage became lighter.
The first remedy was to turn down the dimmer to 80% and today I will dim it further to 75%, which still provides 240 watts of power.
In addition, I will measure the PPFD to more precisely illuminate the topmost buds with 1000 and the area below with 800 to 900.
This will somewhat reduce the need for Calcium / Magnesium and will be gentler on the plants’ health.
It won’t get greener, but they should finish.
I considered performing a foliar feeding. But now, on bloom day 39, shortly before the start of the 7th week of bloom, where there is already a good amount of flower mass present.
The risk of bud rot would be too high for me again.
So today I will incorporate a small amount of Dolomite Lime into the topsoil as a solid, for the next few days, and tomorrow, for direct supply, I still have the 420 Flow Bio CalMag with amino acids, which I will then water directly to the roots at 1 ml per liter, pH regulated.
Since there are only about 23 days left until the end, I can easily apply it twice.
Yep, and the microorganisms will also benefit from the amino acids again.
That will only happen tomorrow because I prefer to let the soil dry out a bit more today. Because wet on wet, the root hairs would suffer again.
I just hope the CalMag is still healthy and good. The bottle is almost 2 years old. But it didn’t get any frost. Standing in the dark, I’ll shake it up right away.
I’ll do the sniff test, pour a little into a glass and see if it looks flaky. If everything’s okay, it’ll be used. For the pH meter to work perfectly, I need to recalibrate it right away. That’s better.
I’ve already lowered the RH (relative humidity) a bit today. 49 - 51% should help prevent the buds from staying too moist for too long.
The RH will, however, be gently lowered further with each passing day.
Then I’ll get to work to do something good for the two of them in their final days.
I also want something good from them.
Wish you a nice rest of the day. Greetings from Pflanzenpaule

Hallo Grow friends, and as I hinted earlier, I’m done for today.
With a slight defoliation still carried out, the whole thing doesn’t look bad at all. Nevertheless, I’ve adjusted the light intensity considerably.
Although the outer buds are only at around 600 µmol/s/m². But in the middle, it’s still around 1051.
I left the LED dimmed to 80%, but I brought it back to a distance of 40 cm.
Now it shouldn’t stress the ladies as much.
As compensation, I treated each of them to one liter of water today, with 1 ml of Bio CalMag including amino acids each, adjusted to PH 6.5 so they can absorb it directly. 500 ml from above and 500 ml from below, which they can then draw in.
For the coming days, I added 1 tsp of rock dust and 1 tsp of dolomite lime in solid form to the upper soil layer.

I also found that the foliage was a bit too dense in some places, so today I snipped off some more larger fan leaves from both of them.
Somehow, some buds seemed a bit thicker to me today.
I’m curious to see how they’ll look in 10 days.
But no matter where you touch.
Fingers get brutally sticky. But that’s a good thing!
I also took some more pictures of how it looks today.
Flower Day 39, and it’s heading strongly towards the end of the 6th week of flowering.
Oh, I’m really looking forward to new strains starting soon, and with my grandson the other day, we planted 3 tomato seeds, 2 of which are already showing today.

They’ll soon go out onto the balcony with the strawberries, which are beautifully unfolding again, even after I repotted some plants into larger containers.

Then I wish everyone a nice Saturday evening.
I was just busy creating a nice soil mix for a tomato pot.
A 28 l pot with a climbing aid and a water reservoir at the bottom for side refilling. It fell into the shopping cart for ten euros at Lidl.
Inspired by the fact that the third delicate tomato plant has now also been born.

On the right, it’s just peeking out of the soil! So, with tomatoes and sprouts, it works too.
The strongest one will go into the large pot in a week or two.
Since the underlying water reservoir already takes up several liters of pot volume, I first mixed 20 liters of soil. To get a solid soil mix;
13 l potting soil for structure, bringing life - with 3 l worm humus, which provides valuable microorganisms, and 4 l coco for airiness.
Since tomatoes are also heavy feeders, I created a sufficient (I hope) depot of nutrients. They should last until harvest!
So I added 30 gr. dolomite lime, 5 gr. magnesium sulfate, 30 gr. poultry manure, 150 gr. horse manure pellets, and 150 gr. rock dust and mixed everything thoroughly. Since the coco block had to swell with 2.5 l of water, I first mixed the powdery ingredients into the dry soil and worm humus, and only then added the coco to avoid clumping of lime and rock dust.
With poultry manure, I kept the dosage very small because it is very strong and can drive up the pH. Especially with pre-fertilized soil, there would be a risk of root burn. I don’t want that.
Finally, I added another 2 liters of water with nematodes once the soil was in the pot and am now letting it rest for 1 - 2 weeks. This way, the nematodes can hunt possible enemies, microorganisms can awaken, and begin to break down the pellets.

A cool climbing aid that just needs to be plugged in.
I left some space at the top for now to mulch later and add more worm humus if needed.
It will soon go out to the strawberries, and things are already happening there.

The box has been outside for the fourth year now, summer and winter, and so far, it has only received worm humus on top. For now!

She got a slightly larger pot with fresh soil and worm humus.
And she likes it because she’s taking off. And it’s not even that warm yet, with little sun so far. It’s also been standing for the fourth year already!
Just for Fun

I disassembled box number 2 and put the plants from it into the 40 l brute with lots of fresh soil, horse manure pellets, worm humus, magnesium sulfate, and we’ll see. Recovered from the repotting stress, they are now coming along.
One can barely afford the expensive stuff anymore.
So, a man has to do it himself.
Today I left the Cookies completely alone, so I had time for other things.
For he who rests, rusts.
With that, Gizmo says

Here are also some pictures of my ladies, which are now approaching harvest time

Funnily enough, thanks to different flowering times despite being set to 12/12 at different times, all 3 are ready at the same time… planned around the 20th.

Moin folks, all hell has broken loose.
For days now, there’s been a pulling and pressure on my ceramic crown bridge.
Oh, and since last night, the bottom left hurts brutally.
All that’s left is for me to get ready and head to the emergency dentist.
The Cookies are already moistened with 1.5 liters of water, directly into the soil. Additionally, 0.8 ml per liter of Bio CalMag added again and adjusted to pH 6.6.
Just over 2 liters will follow later, so I’ll reach 2.5 - 2.8 liters per pot.
In total, just over 5 liters, I added 5 ml of lactic acid bacteria and 15 ml of molasses/lab ferment.
And now I have the wheat grain!
I got it as mixed feed with barley, dried corn, which I laboriously separated by hand.

With that, the experiment to start a Trichoderma culture can begin again.
Once the pain is dealt with.
Here’s to a nicer Sunday for you all. Greetings from Paule

Hello hello,
a small grow update from my side

Kalini Asia FF Flowering Week 4 of 8

she has recovered well

Hey @Dirty-Hari
oh yes, your Banana Melt will take on a great color.
I think the entire bud will turn purple. But also the Kalini Asia is starting to get a different color at some leaf tips.
Wishing you continued success and I think a Kalini Asia will also be represented in my next run. Looks very good!

@herr_gruen, thanks thanks! I hope it gets better today.
Yesterday I was at the emergency service. She flushed out my gum pockets because there were bacteria in them.
Periodontitis, even though a treatment for it took place at the old dentist.
Only with the result that it got worse instead of slowing down.
Everything under the crown was inflamed again, and the last tooth under the bridge also has an inflammation between the roots.
Nevertheless, she left it in.
A medication was also applied into the pocket and after that I was just flat because I had already missed sleep from the night before, I overslept the afternoon.
This morning the tooth hurts less, but now the pain is in the lower jaw towards the chin, so it also causes problems when swallowing.
Today my new dentist is back from vacation and I still have to go there at eleven.
These are the most intense pains I’ve had so far. But at least my upper jaw is at peace, because all molars, along with these damn crowns, are gone.
Instead, it now alternates below. Sometimes right, sometimes left.
But the cost approval is here, and so the rest will come out too.
I can only recommend - no periodontitis treatment.
It only makes it worse.
Because it is a chronic disease that cannot be stopped.
It has been a very painful experience so far.
So, I’m getting ready. 2 doctor’s appointments today - Awesome!
Greetings from Paule

Hey @KilliczGe, I’m sitting in the waiting room and hoping.

So far, the previous bunch of scumbag dentists were only money-hungry.
Did everything for their own pockets but nothing to fix the problem.
This horror will soon be in its 4th year

Wonderful with you @KilliczGe .
The big one has a bit of calcium deficiency.
But so far at the end.
Oh well.
Maybe increase the light distance a little, because I think your LED also emits quite a lot.

For my part, it’s a day of rest and I’m already back in bed.
Oh well, it’s a rainy day anyway, so I’m using it to let myself be pampered.

Even a small cannabis cultivator like me is constantly caught up by the nasty sides of life.
The lady in white rolled up her sleeves today and pulled out my three-unit ceramic crown bridge.
Underneath, there were only 2 tooth stumps left, which she then, while she was at it and everything was nicely numb, also pulled both out.
Before that, there were impressions for the lower right and left.
The fit for Paule’s third.
I’m glad to know everything is prepared here.
The Cookies were thoroughly watered yesterday.
I can rest.
I then thought that now a few days of rest, that I, with lying down and a few pulls of Amnesia, and despite a cotton swab on the wound area,
still a treat

Cappuccino with a straw.
Then the knowledge is already nagging at me.
Tomorrow morning at 9 AM, back to her.
She wants to look at the wound then.
But then take impressions on top and, since she has started now, also take out that one tooth on the upper left.
That goes really quickly with her.
Well, I do notice that one now and then.
I just hope that I’ll have some time in between and that she doesn’t stick to the extraction too much.
Because there are still several (teeth) that are loose.
I’m going to take a nap now.
Greetings!

Yeah, I saw it that way too. I’ve already raised the lamp and dimmed it down a bit.
Also better for the small ones standing next to it.

Then get some good rest and good luck tomorrow with your next appointment.

Today was repotting day; yesterday I already prepared the homemade Air Pots.

With 4 pots, that takes quite a while. Good thing I’m reusing them; I won’t be making them again anytime soon. My supposed potassium deficiency turned out to be more of a pH problem. I hope to get that under control quickly with new soil. In any case, the little ones were thoroughly rooted.

as you can clearly see here. The new soil was again enriched with Trichoderma, Rhizobacter, and Mycorrhiza and moistened with half a liter of water after repotting. This time, soil moisture sensors were also placed in the pots again so I don’t have to constantly weigh them to see if and how much water they need. Afterward, the large leaves were removed, and the shoots were re-secured. Here are a few pictures with their new pots.

tomorrow the dome comes off; she’s already bumping her head.

Wishing everyone a nice evening.

Huhu - Hello, hello there!
Pflanzenpaule greets you, and his mouth won’t stop talking again.
Because things are slowly looking up.
Yesterday, I was able to save myself from that tooth-pulling lady after all.
Nah folks, yesterday morning I had such a headache that I gladly would’ve passed.
So she only took impressions, and I have to go back on Tuesday.
Then it’ll be 3 teeth she pulls instead of 2.
But I’m far from done then.
Well, today I was able to take care of the Cookies OG clones a bit, and I think…
The buds are getting a nice color.
Overall, the fade is in progress.
So they are already properly shifting nutrients from the foliage into the flowers.
Fortunately, the nutrient burn on some leaf tips hasn’t worsened.
From the overall picture, they look even better now than their mother, who already had more yellow on her leaves at the time the clones are now.
Today is Flower Day 44, putting them in their 7th week of flowering and seemingly 18 days before their end.
I’m keeping the temperature at 25.9 degrees and the RH is holding around 44 - 45%.
After 3 days, today each pot received 2.5 liters of water from above into the soil in 500 ml increments.
Approximately 2 million SF nematodes were added to the water to continue giving fungus gnats no chance.
About 3 weeks ago, I started a worm bin with 500 compost worms. Numerous cocoons show that they’re doing well and multiplying diligently.
So today there was the first worm tea.
200 ml of which I introduced into 3.8 liters of water.
In the morning, I started 1 liter of water with 25 degrees, 1 tsp sugar, and 1 tsp dry yeast. I let that work for 3 hours and then added it to the 4 liters.
Well stirred, I distributed the living soup of nematodes and bacteria to the clones.
Let’s see how that further helps them.
I like what I see there!
Clone 1

Ah, today there was also a slight defoliation again to get more air movement and light among everything.

Clone 2

They are already purpling a bit more and for that, they had a few nights at around 18.5 degrees. I should perhaps bring in a tad cooler temperature.
Let’s see if I leave the window ajar at night.
In the coming days, I’ll also lower the daytime temp to 25 degrees so it doesn’t go above that, and provided external conditions cooperate, the RH will be further reduced again.

The mother is definitely very tasty and helps with a restful sleep.

Some strains for the next run are already coming together.
More on that when it starts.
Pflanzenpaule wishes you a nice evening.

@DheudeUDU
Was that the plant that grew next to the moldy Grapefruit?
Good luck, it’s better than before, at least.

Today, I had some watering and topping on the agenda, just like yesterday, where I brought the cereal milk to height.

I shortened the thick shoots and peeled them inside and out with a vegetable peeler, hoping they will grow together into a branch while rooting. Let’s go, cereal milk!

I topped the small Photos (photoperiod plants) sherbet queen, apple crumble, and super silber haze.

They can stay smaller for now. I’ll leave them alone now.

Then there are the automatic (autoflower) offspring, wedding cake (clearly ahead), blue mazer, and sherbet queen.

And finally, in this tent, the grape soda auto, which still has a good 10 days to two weeks and looks the part.

Simply wonderful, I’m really looking forward to the harvest.

Wishing you a nice weekend.

You’ve got some fat nugs hanging on that Grape Soda again. I’m curious how it tastes to you.

Regarding the cutting you’ve put together there, I wanted to note that you should probably remove the tape/band once it has grown together. Otherwise, it could restrict its water/nutrient supply when the stem gets thicker. My grandpa always used a special wax when he grafted his trees. It seals the wound and prevents bacteria from entering the wound and damaging the plant. But I’m really curious to see if it works out. Is that from one strain or are you creating a multi-culture of different strains there?

Thanks, thanks.
Yes, they look magnificent.
True Colas

And yes, I’ll remember to remove the tape again, or at least cut it, once everything has grown together.

I bought a roll of grafting tape and am now using it for such things. We’ll see

It’s all Cereal Milk
