So, trimmed, Sherbet Queen 30.5 grams bone dry and Green Gelato 32.5 grams also bone dry. With the Green Gelato, I still had to remove a small spot with bud rot, the rest was clean.

Hope you have Boveda Packs 62%. Into the jar and let it sit for a while, then it shouldn’t be too dry anymore!

Oh, I stumbled upon something very interesting yesterday.
I wanted to order a few more Eco Witt WH 51 soil moisture sensors.
Now I found the newer WH 52!
Awesome, 3% more accurate in soil moisture than the predecessors. The new ones even show the EC value in the soil directly and the soil temperature, specifically at the root zone.
Although 8 euros more expensive per piece. But simply perfect for mineral fertilization.
Ordered 3 of them right away.
Today I thought I’d give the autos on the balcony some more nutrient solution. I had 350 ml of run-off with 1.75 l per 9-liter pot.
I then poured it back in from the top and now there’s something in the saucer again.
Well, just the emergency sip then. It will be very warm again tomorrow anyway, and some drainage via expanded clay shouldn’t harm the bit of water in the saucer now.
Now I really have to go for today.

I got the bags, they should regulate the humidity well. Who knows, maybe they’ll absorb some moisture again in there. At the moment, I can crumble everything between my fingers.

Today, on Flowering Day 46, I had to support the next two buds of the Kalini Asia with Jojos.
Gradually, the buds are getting so heavy that they are really bending severely and deeply to the side.
With the Jojos, they are standing perfectly straight again.
I’m really curious about that. Because it looks like quite a bit of weight that a branch will carry.
They will probably have to go into the eighth week.
But it’s going to be hot again starting tomorrow. Hopefully, it doesn’t hermie again.
The Mexican is also developing wickedly fat parts. But she still has 3 to 4 weeks.
The Sour Diesel is still consuming 2.7 liters daily.

The last update from the flower room was almost 8 days ago.
And a lot is happening here.
Still a healthy color on the leaves, standing upright, saturated, and reaching towards the light.
The buds are growing vigorously to a nice size, especially the Silver Haze is already putting on considerable mass.

When mine get too dry, I like to mix them with another batch that has more moisture, and then in the jar they balance each other out.

I’ve now put the Boveda Packs into the bags for 2 strains. I will check in a week and then maybe put them into the other bags. Maybe it will help; if not, I won’t have to re-dry it before smoking.

Hello growers, after a long time, I’m checking in again. In the meantime, I’ve completed several grows and was more or less satisfied. Now I’ve started a new project: setting up a complete grow with AI. First, I collected all the important data about the optimal climate. Then I rebuilt the tent.
The little one was then broken down into individual branches, defoliated, and directly wet-trimmed, then my Bud Washing setup came into use.
5 l with a baking soda/lemon solution.
Next to that, another 1.5 l and 1 l for clear rinsing.
Outdoors, you never know what contaminates the buds. Insects, microfiber, and dust flying through the air – I don’t want that in the smoke, nor do I want baking soda.
So, dipped in baking soda, lightly swirled, and after good draining, followed by 2x clear water.
So it hung overnight, and for the first three hours, it was blown by the fan to let the washing moisture evaporate.
In the early morning, it was further de-branched and placed on 1 tray, where it now resides in the Cannatrol in Dry Mode at 19.8 degrees and dew point 12.5 degrees = 62% RH.
The yield, probably like the Amnesia Skittlez, will likely remain around 15g dried.
But it does give off a delicious scent.
Well, the successors already look a bit bigger, and that in only a 9 l pot.
But the plumpest and best probably comes last.
I might get to that later.
It was a bit intense today. In the tent, temperatures were already scratching at 28 degrees early on.
So I cranked up the dehumidifier to 52% as well as the humidifier to 50%, and that brought about 1 degree of relief to the garden.
Now, in the dark phase, I’ve corrected it back down to run the VPD stably.
Closer inspected the trichomes of K. Asia today. Plump, and the harvest window is open. But there’s still more to come.

After I analyzed today’s pictures of the Kalini Asia.
Flowering Day 48!
I decided to let her go without water starting this afternoon.
Tomorrow will be the day, and then she will have completed 7 full weeks of flowering out of the given 7/8 weeks.
The night after that, in dim room light without strong light entering the tent, half an hour before the lights come on, I will
cut her down.

Although she still shows many bright pistils, the trichome pictures speak a clearer language.
And a final hooray!
Simply a bullseye!
The micro-macro zoom in the pictures (trichome magnification) shows the optimal harvest window in detail.
- Trichome analysis;
The maturity stage can be determined from the close-ups of the resin glands:
Cloudy / Milky:
The absolute majority of trichome heads are consistently milky-white. This stands for maximum THC concentration and the most intense terpene profile.
Amber (Amber):
The first golden/amber-colored heads are already mixing in.
Negligibly few Clear:
Transparent, unripe heads are hardly to be found anymore.

The fact that no seed formation is visible despite the stress-induced bananas in week 3 is the best-case scenario. The calyxes are plump with resin, not with seeds.
The dramatic fade shows that the plant has completely exhausted its nutrient reserves from the fan leaves.
I am precisely at the start of the optimal harvest window on Day 48:
Head-High / Energetic: If I cut her down in the next 24–48 hours, I will get the most active, clearest high with minimal body stone.
Couchlock / Relaxing:
If a little more physical heaviness and relaxation are preferred, she should stand for another 3–5 days until the amber percentage rises to 15–20%.

Tomorrow I will let her fill the last day of the 7 weeks.
After that, she will be harvested.
Strictly speaking, it’s almost 48 hours.
I will cut her down rather in the night from Friday to Saturday at 2:30 AM, so I can rest afterward.
Then the Cannatrol will also have completed its 3 Dry Mode days with the batch of Wedding Cake.
So one can come out and the next one go in.
And with these fat, firm, hard buds, I am excited about the weight.
It’s going to be huge.
It can go so fast sometimes. One quick look at magnified trichomes and the harvest window is open.
So Auto Pot number 3 will soon be empty.
Before the next run, they must be cleaned and dried.
