Looking at it now after watering, I’d actually guess it was too dry, because now the top of the soil looks slightly darker, indicating moisture, and you can see a recovery.
It’s just damn hard to maintain the perfect water balance in the pots you’re using. They dry out very quickly from all sides.
12 L isn’t huge either, which altogether makes it dry out faster too.
1 L every three days might be too little. Try going to every 2 days. Heading into flowering, they’ll need that every day, and even that might be a bit little.
With it being too dry, the rest was probably just that not enough nutrients were taken up.
Of course, don’t overwater then.
Or stick to three days, but then water properly. 12 liter pot = 1/4 .
You can go with 3 liters. So that every three days it gets nicely soaked through.
But don’t give it all at once, do it in stages so the soil can absorb it. It’s all a bit of a feeling that comes with time.

Small update on day 18 of flowering.
Unfortunately, since two watering sessions with water (EC 1.5 and pH 6.3-6.4), there’s a slight beginning lockout due to salt buildup caused by drying out too much from watering a day late twice…
EC in the runoff is 2.1, pH 6.7, and only 300ml runoff. Way too little for 20 liters of soil and 7 liters of water.
If you look at the bottom leaf in the close-up, you can see that the central leaf vein is turning yellowish. At the same time, the tips of the leaf serrations are also showing slight, isolated yellowish spots.
I’m counteracting this by feeding with an even lower amount next time.
10 liters with an EC of 1.0 and a pH of 6.0 will be mixed up.
But the Granita is looking great, handled the additional lollipopping well yesterday.
The watering after next is when the PK booster starts.
Nitrogen will be further reduced to push the buds to the maximum.
First trichomes are already becoming visible.
Good afternoon .. for the 20 liters currently that I am also using, I water with 6 liters, 1 or 1.20 liters drain out, that way I think I make sure to flush out what has accumulated .
And with the EC I project the runoff based on what the previous watering gave me, for example if it gave me 2000 I try to lower the next feed to 50% salts to maintain a 1.5 to 1.6, which seems low to me but I don’t want to test limits yet ..

Yeah, I thought the pots were so cool that I thought it was the ultimate progress, without considering that growing organically like this makes it harder if the moisture balance isn’t perfect. Before that, I had 20 L fabric pots.
I notice that with every change in environmental conditions or equipment, a different challenge arises that needs to be considered and mastered.
So I will either switch to watering every 2 days, or 3 L every 3 days and observe. Paying special attention so my pots don’t dry out too quickly
Now I’m only worried about Lady Pineapple Kush (picture)

Those are just the effects when it got too dry, and unfortunately, no matter what you do, the damaged leaves won’t get healthy again.
What matters is that all new growth develops healthily, but adding CalMag alone can fix it if the water ideally has a calcium-to-magnesium ratio of 3 to 1. But that’s often not the case. And besides, there’s always one problem lady in the mix.
Indeed, even just having different pot sizes is a challenge.
In larger ones, it’s easy to overwater.
But I always have something different going on as well. It just takes a bit longer until the routine is dialed in.
Yesterday I took the 3 seedlings out of the propagator and put each into an 18 L pot, each buried deep enough so that in the end only 4 cm stuck out of the soil. The 3% living soil pot also has cover crop that’s already sprouting healthily. The A. Skittlez Auto had to be planted a good 10 cm deep with the rockwool cube because she was already standing 10 cm high from the cube, plus the cube’s thickness, so she still stuck out 4 cm at the top. This way, she can sprout plenty of roots along her stem in the soil. Hope she does that. She was slightly stretched. The other 2 weren’t. They are now also in 18 L each, but in BioTabs soil.
So now it’s just plain water. Without all the fuss around it.
For now, I have the climate at 25.9 degrees, 66.8% RH, and the VPD at 0.74.
Due to lower RH now, root growth should really pick up momentum.
With the light still at a distance of 70 cm and 37% on the dimmer, 200 - 217 micromoles are already reaching their first serrated leaves for seedling week 2, which is starting now. In the next few days, I’ll increase it by another 50 micromoles if they cope well until then.
The larger tent is done with its cleaning. Had everything out, sprayed everything inside with a hydrogen peroxide and water mixture, let it soak in, and then my wife went over it again. All equipment completely cleaned, so it’s currently at a standstill there.
As for the LED bars, I found a new use for them too. They are now placed vertically in the bottom corners of the small tent. Later, when the plants are larger and it’s not as bright down inside, I’ll switch the bars on so the plants get some light from below as well.
But first, the goal is to get them to grow up safe and sound. I think the 500 ml of water per pot yesterday will last for a while. Most of it was applied further away around the seedlings, though.

I have to agree with you about the overwatering and the CalMag.
I’ve mentioned it a few times already that if you mix ready-made CalMag into an unbalanced ratio in the starting water, it leads to problems during flowering at the latest.
That was also eventually one of the reasons why I moved away from autos. With fems, you can simply control more, counteract it, and leave them in veg for a week longer.
Watering and pot size is also quite a thing with autos. Large pots, yes, if you have the necessary setup and experience and want to get a lot out of it.
Otherwise, in my experience, 7 liters is completely sufficient. Watering a seedling in a 20-liter pot without it being too much and without the soil completely drying out in other spots at the same time… is just very difficult.
Those were all my experiences with autos.
Still, I always got a harvest out of it.
Ultimately, after two years, I ended up only having feminized strains in the tent because the terpenes and the entourage effect are just a bit better.
Although I’ve grown Peach Crescendo Auto 4 times already. That one really hits hard. Plus, the strains I grow also have to fulfill the medical component. 
Exactly, for me it’s also only autos at the moment, because I want to get rid of them.
The last run in the 9-liter pot was pretty decent too. One is still drying now and I haven’t weighed it yet, but it was the fattest one.
I almost had them gone, then new ones came that I won.
But these ones now are from Mephisto and are supposed to be very good for medical stuff as well.
I still have three seeds left as autos. Some F-trallala hybrids. Medusa.
I prefer photoperiods as well.
I need to take my time with that. It was a bit much lately, to be honest.
I don’t throw anything away. Costs time, money, and who throws money away?
First I need to work through my finished stash a bit. Otherwise you end up with kilos lying around and endless drama.
I don’t smoke that extremely much after all. But there was a lot of harvest in the last few weeks. 
Now only the smaller tent is running for a change, just to have something to do.

Yeah, Air-Pots need quite a bit of water, which is why growing purely organically would be a real watering hell
Right now I have to water 5 liters per plant every 3 days.
During my last grow, in late flowering I even had to water 5 liters 3 times a week with the full nutrient schedule, and the plants handled it easily.
But I still think the advantages of these pots outweigh this downside.
Just the fact alone that no root circling can form.

I see it the same way, my first grow was an auto too, I thought it would be easier
I put in a lot of fertilizer because I had no clue.
It’s stressful with the time pressure though, training also ends up being pretty minimal.
Photoperiod plants are much more flexible in that regard.

Watering worked out super well now and the ladies are standing tall. I’ll stick with that!
It’s really a challenge to use a different pot size + the pot type (Air Pods) in a healthy way, and you have to find a balance, which I’ve hopefully done now 
The Pineapple Kush is still suffering from Cal Mag deficiency 
I only had Cal Mag as an additive in other fertilizers, but not as a standalone source. Ordered a nitrogen-free vegan CalMag, arrives Saturday, until then me and the Pine are still suffering unfortunately. And as you say Paule, the leaves don’t recover, which is a real shame. But I’ll push through and make the best of it.

Thanks as well for your feedback. Yeah, watering hell pretty much sums it up . And since I grow purely organic, I’m already preparing myself for it. The watering can I have has now given way to the 5 L bucket for mixing before it was enough.
I’ll see how everything develops. I’m a fan of the pots. If I can finally get a handle on the watering routine, I think the positives will outweigh the negatives

Everything is ready to go in the bigger tent as well.
There was a small change.
Holders for sensors and the lamps are no longer hanging at an 11-degree angle to each other.
But things are taking a short pause now.
What was missing were a few pictures of the 3 new autos, and those were the last of this series.

She was the tallest at 10 cm above the rockwool.
She went into 3% living soil
Even with mycorrhizae and Trichoderma already in it, an extra portion was added.
Water and some Light Mix around the root, the cube, and her stem to bed it in soil first before the whole thing grows into hotter regions.
The pot with cover crop, which is supposed to hold the moisture in the soil better.
Yesterday her leaves were drooping a bit though
Which improved over the course of the day, though.
Amnesia Skittlez 1 went into Plagron Bio Light Mix, worm castings, coco mix prepared with BioTabs.
A bit of Mycotrex into the hole.
In went the sweet girl and another dose of Mycotrex.
Startrex and Silicium were already mixed into the soil.
Instead of 3 tabs per pot, I used 3 halves. You can always add more later.
Orgatrex wasn’t needed because of Silicium. Since this one is also a bit more delicate, I added a bit less Orgatrex to the water and the specified amount of Bactrex.
So she was potted in soil.
Yesterday she showed no signs of stress.
The last Wedding Cake Auto then also found its way into the same BioTabs super soil.
How super the whole thing will turn out?
I’m super curious about that.
For her, it was the same treatment.
And then all three were standing in their new home.
She also looked very relaxed yesterday, one day later.
But before everything started, I measured at pot height—once at the edge and once in the middle—to see what reached them dimmed to 37% and at a light distance of 70 cm.
With 200 - 217 micromoles, I was happy for a start.
Germination started 12 days ago, and today they are on seedling day 7.
In the middle of the second seedling week, I’ll add another 50 micromoles.
Later when they are bigger, they’ll get some light from below during flowering.
All three were watered in with 500 ml of water each. And nicely spaced around the seedlings.
The coco expanded with 3 L of water, so there’s enough moisture in the soil with BioTabs for now.
The living soil was kept only slightly moist during activation.
For just a few days, they were well developed and I’m curious to see how they turn out.
Now I have to go out with Gizmo.
