Yesterday, the small tent was tackled here. And the ladies were tidied up a bit.
Before, it still looked nice, but the two in the back, black Domina and mimosa Zkittlez, prompted me to act.
After that, everything went really fast: scissors out, quickly counted the nodes, and off with their heads
Now I can let them put on some side shoots, which I hope to train quite elegantly. 
I’m almost laughing at myself.
In the middle, the gorilla glue Auto is slowly starting to flower. Also nice.
But what did I do with the tops 
…I didn’t throw away the tips of the two sturdiest ones (black Domina and mimosa Zkittlez).
Being a bonsai gardener, you try to grow another piece of life even from the smallest bit.
So I trimmed them up and stuffed the tips into Light Mix, so they can take root and later live out their lives in a fabric pot.
At least that’s the theory.
And before someone else mentions it: Yes, I like eating Monte. They have great cups

And another weekend is knocking at the door. Right now I’m in the process of converting the propagator into a soil greenhouse to start germinating 5 photoperiods and one auto.
Because I think that although the last three came up so nicely, I put them into the soil a bit too early. Even though I used Light Mix as fill in the planting hole, despite the mild addition of nutrients, the soil was probably still too hot for them. Silly me.
Maybe the light was already too strong as well, and I should have kept it below 200 micromoles.
But many roads lead to Rome.
So today, although there are 6 pots of different sizes, 0.7 l to 1.2 l pots, I filled all 6 with 0.7 l Plagron Bio Light Mix and mixed in 10% worm castings into each pot. That’s only 70 ml per pot.
Next, I’ll water the pots a bit right away, giving only 10% water per pot, which I adjust to pH 6.2.
Whichever ones come up stay in until they’ve grown a bit bigger. I still have two resting 25 l Living Soil fabric pots, and if the 3 autos die, those pots will just be restocked. If nothing dies, then there will be 9!
There’s still plenty of soil and pots left anyway.
Underneath the propagator is a heating mat temperature-controlled for 20 to 24.5 degrees. That way it stays warm and not too cold at night, and for the first 4 days it stays in the dark anyway.
So I’ll get back to work so the beans get into the soil today.

So, vacation is over. Time to clean the tents. I think I’ll germinate a few seeds on Monday, then there’ll be a few pictures from me to look at again. I’ll also start a new breeding program then. Self one, cross one, and then something to smoke. Have to check through the stash tomorrow, it’s going to be spoiled for choice again. Or the other way around, whatever, it’s never easy

Today I repositioned my two so they aren’t so close together.
By now I already have to water 3 times a week. I also had to hang the light a bit higher because the top leaves got a bit of light stress.

Nah, it was just a short break because of an upcoming vacation. They wouldn’t have survived without care. Now the temperatures are better again, so you can grow better and with fewer problems again. I already have a plan for what it’s going to be, I just need to find the right seeds.

Seeds have been in paper towels in my new germination tray for an hour now and are sitting by the window in the sun for now. Later they will go into the cabinet until they can be planted. I hope all of them germinate, #1+2 are 2 years old now, #1 is the only one I have, #2 I still have a spare for emergencies. #3 I still have plenty lying around for further breeding and #4-6 are the ones won from Ganja Farmer. I’m curious to see how they turn out, their seeds vary a lot in color and size for the same strain. They’re probably not quite stable yet, should at least be the same size.
At least the other seeds I have from other breeders look almost identical. Well, I can still use them for breeding purposes if they don’t convince me. Now I’ll get the pots ready and get the tents in shape so they can move right in once they pop.

A bit crowded in there. The lady in the back left, the Pineapple Kush, is also recovering and I think I’ll be able to get her through flowering now.
Great training on your end looks good. I definitely need to work on my LST training

Don’t let the kush mints veg for too long, she likes to stretch a lot. Mine got 42 days in veg and I had to super crop the whole thing because it was hitting the roof of the tent at one point.

I currently have just enough of my own strains to fill the tent. However, I wanted to test the ones I won from Ganja Farmer as well. Maybe on the next run I’ll manage to use only my own creations. It really bugs me not testing them, I want to know what I’ve got
